im posting a review so steam stops prompting me to
10 year old game on sale and with all DLC it's still nearly 40 dollars. There is a sequel on the market. There are no excuses for these prices.
Really fun game! I highly recommend getting the DLCs. They add quite a few mechanics that smooth out the game and make it make more sense. It's kind of addicting, honestly.
I've spent too many hours to count on this game. I've been a CIV players since CIV II. Tried everything through CIV VII. VI remains my favorite. Best interface, best game play, and can turn most of the climate change stuff down so it doesn't affect game play.
