£100 for drip fed "dlc" whats going on? thats crazy. Spent around a hour trying to see why anyone would even spend £25 for all that dlc. £100! Plus the 2k screen is always in the top corner of the screen while in game? and it says legend enabled. (they call it legend mode and all it does is watch you, and then they give you xp for some skins i guess...) To disable it... create a 2k account sign to disable...
What a waste.
I tried to like it, but no
1. Requires a third-party account to play with your friends on Steam. 2. The crisis thing turns it into PVE. 3. Having to change civilization every era makes it feel like it's campaign based rather than continuous. (Together with the crisis thing this just kills the momentum in a multiplayer game.) 4. You get kicked out of the game when you have "won enough." The game just ends when you're having the most fun. It is really sad that a few of the design choices just kills the game completely, since they have improved a lot of other things.
I've been playing Civ from the first part in 1991. All of them. Simultaneously with each new release, testing new, getting back to the previous. Thousands of hours to combine all of the experience throughout 35 years. But this? This is pure rubbish. Automated rubbish. I hope the community will have enough willpower to mod this crap and make it at least enjoyable to the boring level. This is the first installment I uninstall INTENTIONALLY. All updated, all DLCs, 100 Euros to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and love to the devs are gone. We have a proverb in Lithuania: „iš didelio rašto išėjo iš krašto“ basically meaning „the operation was a success, but the patient died“. Well done Sid and the team.
There's crap. There's retarded crap, then there's Civ 7, which is gay retarded crap. Unlike the previous releases in the Civilization series of games, gameplay in 7 is confusing, and doesn't seem to lead anywhere. The world graphics are ok, but visually 'busy', if that makes any sense. I've pretty much given up even bothering with it, and wish I had my seventy dollars back. Even on sale now at 35 dollars, it's still over priced.
Cut down neutered version of previous games.
This feels nothing like Civilization. I really wanted to like it, but the UI was just awful.
Does not flow like previous Civ games. Boring and slow with too much details
