This is certainly the best game in the Civilization series to date. With the DLCs you're left with the pinnacle experience for this style of strategy game. It is the single best turn based table-top strategy game, and remains infinitely replayable single and multi player. There are some very excellent mods which elevate the complexity to grand-strategy levels, and community patches and mods for very balanced multiplayer games. It is a testament to the quality of this game that it remains worth buying over a decade later.
