as a person using 400 dpi, the max sensitivity is way too low, it also inexplicably speeds up temporarily mid-game sometimes (NOT COOL!!!!) aside from that the game is decent, decent selection of maps, with rotating/random tilesets which i thought was cool
great fast paced gameplay, if you are a fan of "Doom" and "Killing Floor". this game if for you!
The game is very fun and very difficult. I recommend trying it; it's a great experience. It's an FPS game mixed with rough-and-roll elements and a Vampire Survivor-like system. In my opinion, it's a good game, and I also like the graphics; they look unique.

good and simple game, amazing gameplay loop but i think a difficulty slider would be good for those who want more of a challenge, also the weapons dont really have any interactions but that fine, also love the art style
On my first run, I was thoroughly blown away by all the improvements that were made to this game since its release on itch.io. The gameplay boils down to a very simple mechanic: walk backwards, jump, and shoot. Despite that simplicity, though, it's remarkably captivating. The gameplay demands your attention, and losing your focus for a moment could easily end your run. And with the new improvements, now you can do that with more power-ups, tighter movement, and a few special surprises. I think the weakest link is communication. Reworking player feedback to complement the gameplay would make this game more cohesive. While all the animations, sound effects, screen effects, etc. communicate the interplay between the player and the enemies well enough to make the game perfectly playable, weapons do not feel powerful, enemies do not feel threatening, and explosions do not feel dangerous. Another communication shortcoming is that the gameplay telegraphs almost nothing about your arsenal's capabilities. You'll learn about them if you read the optional tutorial, but it still omits some important information for surviving a particular battle or some more punishing enemy variants. Fixing all this, however, would be icing on the cake. The cake itself is still delicious; the core gameplay works really well. And while the music could be a bit more varied, in conjunction with the visuals, it creates a purpose to your actions that complements the alien environment and expertly tense gameplay. If you like this genre, definitely try this game, and support this developer by playing the sequel—because Sicko Sanctum is an incredibly fun game.
It's a free game so I can't complain much, but after 15 minutes it felt boring. I LOVE surrealistic games and I love games that are roguelike and also like ULTRAKILL, so I was the target audience but it all didn't click for me. The game sound design is very poor and guns don't feel good to shoot, upgrades are aight but there isn't a lot of them and they also don't do anything special, its most like: +10% health +5% speed +10% max hp etc.. where roguelikes are at their best is when they have specific upgrades that dictate how to run will be different from the earlier one, and in this game every run felt the same. Also didn't like the idea of having all the guns being available at the start, let us get the guns after some number of waves, because there is no reason to keep going through waves other than "number go up". Also please lean more into the claymation style, it's the highlight of the game, you have such a cool designs with the claymation just to put it into a room full of normal textures that you would find in any other game. overall didn't enjoy it much sadly, but looking forward to seeing this game grow and make me consider playing it again 3/10
