The style is aimed for younger players, and some of the jokes are fairly juvenile, but the gameplay itself is pretty fun. Pretty good puzzles. It can be played solo with no problem for the most part. Some places are a lot easier with 2 players. In general it's a lot more fun to play with a friend so you can mess around with each other the whole time.

Hello friends, I will now write a review about the game MAD MAX. This game is based on the events from the original mad max universe plus the newest movie called fury road. There are even some easter eggs to find in the game associated with all 4 mad max movies if you know where to look. Yes, there are 4 mad max movies. There not all called mad max, as one is called road warrior, but they all happen in the same universe. The game itself is quite a masterpiece. I believe it is a hidden gem, as some people say, and overlooked. Sadly, the developers did not add anymore story related DLCS to the game to flush it out, like most developers do. I do not believe the game sold very well, hence why there was not any added storyline DLCs. There are some dlc's, but most of them just add new hood ornaments, or a new car type, or some new weapons, but that is it. The gamplay is reminiscent of Fallout games. Although you do not play in 1st view (well i did not, but i think you can at least in the car), there is alot of fighting to do in the game. There is also a great massive map that you can explore around and do things. There are even hidden places you can explore. Don't expect to fully explore every area though. Some are story associated and need to be explored later in the game. Anyways, here is my PRO/CON list: PROS: - A massive world to explore that is open ended. Only your characters skills and strengths and car strength are the only thing stopping you. - Many places to explore. - The story is decent, but this type of story has been done before. - Side quests and Death Races. Expect to be ganged on in Death Races! They are quite interesting racing against everyone trying to play demolition derby versus your character. CONS: - Some people on the forum have posted that certain characters are very ugly. This is done on purpose. After all, this is a post apocalyptic world. If you cannot stand super ugly characters, i suggest passing on this game as one of the characters that hangs around you alot is quite ugly. - There is alot of adult things in this game. This game is not for the young or impressionable. If your worried and are young, i suggest asking a adult around you if you can play it. - The map is not as flushed out as games like skyrim or fallout. There is potentially wasted space. For example, the area where you find a car is almost completely empty. I understand why they did this, but the whole map has hardly nothing on it. - This game could of used MODS and mod support, or even steam workshop support. I image a great modding community would of been involved in this game, but unfortanetly, this never happened, and may never happen in the future. Although the game suffers from some potential flaws, it is good alltogether in the end. I do recommend this game, but be aware it is quite violent like the movies themselfs. If you never seen the full MAD MAX series, i suggest going out and watching it before playing this game. It helps learning about the game before playing it. You don't actually need to see the movies to fully understand and play the game, but it help. One other thing i should mention is this game i think really needs controller support. If your playing on keyboard and mouse, i think it will be much harder.
the multiplayer server seemed to be down (me and my brother played like 80% of it a few years ago and decided to finally come back and finish it after all these years and we couldn't connect with multiplayer so instead we had to use remote play together) many puzzles were quite challenging and near the end we stopped going for all 3 colas in each level and averaged 2 per level
Fun, clever puzzle-platformer similar to The Lost Vikings
Funny little game
Boring.
Fighting controls a little bit gameplay-wise, but works well on Deck. Clearly it's not going to be purchased anytime soon, but if you have a Deck and are looking for games, this seems to work flawlessly!
I love ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ it is a great gaem.
