About
Shelves And Sorcery is a relaxing fantasy organization game about turning absolute chaos back into order.
Weapons, potions, spellbooks, fruits, vegetables, magical curiosities, and thousands of other items have been scattered throughout three fantasy shops. Pick everything up, find where it belongs, and slowly watch each shop return to the way it was meant to be.
Take your time and enjoy the satisfaction of putting everything in its place, or learn every corner of the shop and race against players around the world for the fastest time.
Choose from three shops of dramatically different sizes, each with its own setting, atmosphere, and challenge. Then return to them in four different modes, whether you want to relax, chase the fastest time, wield every bit of magic from the start, or organize without magic at all.
• Casual Mode – No timer and no pressure. Take your time, enjoy the atmosphere, and organize every shelf at your own pace.
• Timed Mode – Race against the clock and compete on the global leaderboards. Learn where every item belongs, master your Sorceries and Enchantments, perfect your route, and keep pushing for a faster time.
• Archmage Mode – Start with every Sorcery and Enchantment already unlocked. Take on the entire shop at full magical strength and see just how powerful an experienced shopkeeper can be.
• No Magic Mode – The magic of the world has escaped. No Sorceries. No Enchantments. No magical shortcuts. Just you, thousands of misplaced items, and the knowledge you've gained along the way.
1,000+ items to organize
A cozy shop tucked away in the quiet village of Burg. Once a welcoming stop for locals and passing adventurers, its shelves have fallen into disarray. With 1,048 items to restore, it's a comfortable introduction to the satisfying world of organizing.
3,000+ items to organize
A well-loved shop in the bustling market town of Stonebridge, built through years of honest work by its humble merchant. With 3,085 misplaced items, restoring The Merchant's Rest offers a much larger challenge with plenty of shelves waiting to be put right.
4,000+ items to organize
High above the clouds on the floating isle of Vane stands a legendary shop filled with magical treasures from across the world. With 4,066 items scattered throughout, The Grand Athenaeum is the largest challenge of them all. Take your time restoring it, or master every shelf and chase the fastest time.
Thankfully, you don't have to organize thousands of magical objects entirely by hand.
As you make progress, unlock Sorceries designed to help you tackle the mess.
Gather matching items from around the shop, reveal objects you've been struggling to find, or use magic to send items toward the shelves where they belong.
The more you organize, the more powerful your magical toolkit becomes.
Magic isn't limited to spells.
Unlock Enchantments that permanently improve your abilities and change how you move through each shop.
Carry more items at once. Increase your reach. Move faster. Jump higher. Eventually, even take to the air.
Combined with your Sorceries, these abilities can turn an experienced shopkeeper into an organizing force of nature and become an important part of chasing faster times.
Whether you're carefully organizing The Hearth & Barrel after a long day, working your way through the thousands of items inside The Merchant's Rest, or fighting for a place on the leaderboard in The Grand Athenaeum, Shelves And Sorcery is built around one simple satisfaction:
Finding where something belongs...
and finally putting it there.

Awesome chill fun! Love it! Also love Teddy's Haven!
Sorry, but if even the basics of the game do not work, then I'm out. 1 too much white thread to fit into the shelves, but one marie figure is missing instead. If you can't even finish the easiest room without a bug, then there will be a refund.

🎮 I run the curator group Build, Rule, Repeat — simulators and system-driven games where mechanics matter.
🧙 Shelves and Sorcery - A Little Magic, A Lot of Tidying
A relaxing little game for everyone who enjoys sorting, organizing and putting things exactly where they belong.

🧹 Time to Clean Up the Magic Shop
Shelves and Sorcery: Tidy Up the Enchanted Shop is exactly what the title promises. You have a magical shop, a pile of completely chaotic items, and one simple mission: put everything where it belongs. Books, potions, vegetables, fruits, berries, swords, staffs, daggers, ore, crystals, ropes, balls of yarn and a few other things are scattered around the shop. Your job is to sort everything onto shelves, into tubes and onto counters. No monsters. No epic battles. No world-ending prophecy. Just you... ...and a shop that desperately needs cleaning. 😄

✨ What Works:

Extremely simple and relaxing gameplay
Several difficulty options
Three levels to organize
Satisfying for people who enjoy sorting and tidying
Easy to understand and immediately playable

⚠️ What Doesn't:

Only three levels
Not enough different types of objects
The item variety becomes repetitive quite quickly
Not enough content to keep you playing for a long time

⏳ A Few Hours, Not a Few Days
And this is where the biggest problem appears. There simply isn't enough variety. The concept is relaxing and enjoyable, but after you've sorted the same general categories of objects several times, there isn't much left to discover. As a game that can occupy you for a couple of relaxing hours? Absolutely. As something you'll be playing for days? Probably not.

🧘 Final Thoughts
I actually recommend buying Shelves and Sorcery — but only if you know exactly what you're getting. This isn't a game about progression, difficult decisions or hundreds of hours of content. It's a little digital relaxation session. Put the sword on the shelf. Put the potion in the right place. Move the berries. Organize the crystals. Enjoy the silence. And then ask yourself the most important question: You've cleaned up your virtual shop... but have you cleaned up your real one yet? 😏
👍 Recommended for players who want a short, relaxing organizing game. Just don't expect enough content to turn this tiny magical shop into your second home.
I am a huge proponent of therapy. There is no substitute for the good that can be done by a professional therapist and taking care of your mental health. However, this is the next best thing. I'm messy. This game is very relaxing (but also in a stressful way when you're trying to decide how you want to sort things). It's also got me looking around in real life being like "Why am I good at game clean but not good at real clean. Why." Anyway, I love this.
I love this game, ive had so much fun with it. Its relaxing and i love that you can change the music tracks on the harp, its such a good touch. If you want something to just zone otu to, its your game! Awesome games from an awesome developer!
Extremely fun and satisfying sorting game! The added function of magic spells and upgrades brings a really fresh mechanic to sorting, and it's really satisfying to see your ongoing progress. I've very much enjoyed playing this and I hope to see more levels and items added in the future. Thank you for your hard work!~ Also we LOVVEE a dev that doesn't use ai <3
I enjoyed the music in this game, the atmosphere was 10/10. The items are cute and all have unique names, which I appreciate. If you like sorting games you'll like this one for sure. Also I am happy that this game has no gen ai. Worth the money in my opinion.
Great game for friends to backseat, I quickly found. :'D I'm not super familiar with this genre and the first few minutes while figuring out stuff didn't click, but suddenly an hour later I'd finished the first shop and understood the positive reviews. Lowkey, chill, and unassuming. My only change I'd like is for the objects on the top of piles to not perpetually float, but it's really just a nitpick in an otherwise as-advertised experience. Chalk it up to mAgIc~
This is a relaxing game made by the excellent developer of Teddy's Haven. The music is nice and relaxing, the assets are not cheap and generic like some entries in this genre, and the 3 different stores are nicely decorated and they look like a store that you would genuinely want to visit and shop at. As someone who has played Teddy's Haven, a lot of the assets are familiar, and some are new enough to me that they have me wondering if they are teasing new features yet to be added to Teddy's. The music is reminiscent of Tavern Master (another great game that deserves more attention), and it is very easy to become lost in this store as you clean it up. One of the few games that doesn't have me turning on background music while I play.
The game basically is "Here's a pile of 3000 random items. Restock all of the shelves at a Wal-Mart." The TL;DR: It feels less like "tidying up a store" and more just "put thing on shelf" after a certain point. There are three maps, one with 1000+ items, then 3000+ items, and the last is with 4000+ items. They're all thematically about the same, except one has rainy windows and the other has floating candles, but the interior is otherwise exactly the same. There is no clear reason for why anything is the way it is, which is confusing. Like, I have no idea why this small grocery store sells like, 6 different kinds of action figures, 20 different magic potions, 3 dragon eggs, and is a *Grocery store* so it also sells 20 types of berries (3 of which are different shades of black), 2 types of corn, 3 types of potato, 4 types of tomatoes and watermelons. Just watermelons. Why is my store selling adventuring gear with tiny action figure Space Maries? They ask me to stock basically a small library with random assortments of books, and I made a mistake of trying to sort the books by themes, but there's SO MANY DIFFERENT BOOKS that after a certain point, I'm more just going "Does this book fit in this slot?" rather than caring about the actual aesthetics or themes on the books, which I think is counter productive to the idea of the game. I realized I was getting annoyed on the 3rd map because there are "Hi-Potions of X" and "Potions of X" but I have literally 2000 things on the floor that all are about the size of an apple and the only thing to differentiate them is the color of it. Is it red, or more of a orange-red? Or deep red? There's a "Potion of Y" that comes in 3 different types. I **think.** But there's a similar naming convention that comes in 4's. And some are one-off piles. Have you ever felt colorblind? Would you like to? I had to sort berries between 6 different shades of orange, tan and brown. Oh, that one's "Mocha".
