Sheepy: A Short Adventure

This game is such a hidden gem it shouldn't be free. Like the name says it's a short adventure but it's a very memorable one.

Pretty decent for a free game. The platforming is alright, although there's nothing particularly unique or challenging about it. The music is good, and you unlock three different abilities as you progress. The second and third abilities are fairly unique and really fun to use, although the game's short runtime means you don't get much time to enjoy them. There are no enemies outside of the boss fights, which are pretty standard. The story is also nothing particularly special. It's a generic tale about a teddy bear that has become corrupted by evil, with radios scattered throughout the game that provide bits and pieces of lore. There are a couple of minor issues too. There's no option to rebind the controls, and the Steam achievement popup left behind a glitchy frame in the bottom right corner of the screen every time an achievement appeared and disappeared. Alt-tabbing fixed it, so it wasn't a major problem. The elevator controls are also unintuitive. You have to press down on the elevator button to use it, rather than simply standing on it, and it seems like quite a few people on the forums had the same issue and thought the elevators were broken. A simple button prompt on the first elevator would have prevented the confusion. To sum it up, it's a decent way to spend an hour, but don't go in expecting a great platformer or much of a story, unless you're the emotional type. I'd say the biggest draws are definitely the second and third abilities. They're a real blast to use, and I just wish the game was long enough to give you more time with them.

HOW DARE U make this a FREE game. I had so much fun playing this that I completely forgot that this game is FREE. Seriously ppl, download this game, u will have the BEST 3/4 hours of ur life. I absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ loved how creative the boss fights were and how well they were done. The last bit of the game were harder but FKING AMAZING. I loved it SOOO MUCH. I can not recommend this game highly enough, this was AMAZING, even BREATHTAKING
