Shadow Prisoner might surprise you, this game is lovely! You should keep your expectations in realistic for some aspects like the visuals. But for the gameplay, characters, and even a lot of the training mode features, it's much better than I expected [list] [*]motion inputs [*]strong responsive movement, including superjumps, dashes, double jump, and airdashes that work the way you want them to [*]interesting combo routing [*]gatlings, including command normals [*]special cancels, jump/double jump cancels, roman cancel etc [*]frame data in training mode (including a menu that pulls up a SPREADSHEET of your character's frame data! I've never seen that before, what a great feature!!) [*]every character has an install that drastically changes their gameplay [/list] basically it's an indie anime fighter that could be worth checking out if you are a nerd about the genre and are willing to overlook some kinda janky presentation. Right now I just like checking out all the characters, but hopefully we can start seeing NA Shadow Prisoner tournaments soon!

ゲームとしては面白いと思います、格ゲーが下手な私でも超低火力ですが永久みたいなのがあって面白かったです。しかし、まだ様子見なせいかカラーエディットでは色が反映されていないバグがあるようなので、これからのアップデートやコスチュームに随時期待していきたいです

the game is very fluid despite what the graphics and stock sounds might initially suggest. i like the inclusion of bc bc at air combos like in melty, and i appreciate that popping gift acts like a roman cancel. also, its made by one guy (who also does work on the daemonbride steam port). if you want to try a game that's both unique and familiar, try shadow prisoner
