Bare bones game $7 is a rip off for what you get, mech part unlocks don't even work, the sex scenes are lackluster. The UI is hammered garbage in the summer sun. Even at $1 this game would not be worth it. the dev should be ashamed of this game, I have played asset flips with more fun gameplay.
If I had the choice between this cheap game and a cheap sandwich then the game would win by a small margin. Granted both are poorly made, low quality, and have poor assets with some possible bugs in them. But I can at least say it has the option of getting a refund and it didn't make me sick.
I genuinely cannot put into words exactly how bad and low effort this game is. Most of the menuing I found in the first 5 minutes of the game requires keyboard and mouse. You select different options in the menu via your WASD/arrow keys, then you have to use mouse left click to actually select the option, instead of something like your space key, enter key, interact keys like F, Z, X, C, E, or anything else that would be nearby the keys you would already have your fingers resting at, the game explains none of this and leaves it to the player to figure out how to interact with itself. The title screen/main menu itself breaks this convention by instead requiring the user to use exclusively the mouse. Not that it could be accurately described as the title screen or the main menu as the game doesn't show the title on the title screen nor describe it even as a menu much less the main menu. The game instead just loads you into a selection of 4 choices: start, load, options, exit. If you want to get a real feel for how good this game is, I recommend clicking Options then pressing the Escape key. It soft locks the game requiring you to close out of it to be able to continue. From the game's startup if you select the Start option, then you're immediately put into an extremely clunky conversation half a line at a time with someone. After this conversation you're "shown" your robot. By that I mean the game pans to where your robot would presumably be, but simply fails to load it. The game then drops you into a battle where it explains nothing about the UI, what actions you have available, why you would do any of the actions you have available, or anything that could benefit the player in making decisions in their battle. Pressing "Atk:1" then "End" 5 times will end the battle prompting the someone you had a "conversation" with to say they'll show you how to upgrade your robot for battles, but first will have goodbye sex with you. This naturally leads the player to the character creation screen before going to some of the worst animated sex I've ever seen with somehow even worse sound effects and menuing. The options you have are "(.)(.)( )", "♥♥♥ now", " ", and "end", all set to the calming tune of 60 seconds of background music that doesn't loop, interspersed with someone screaming every 10 seconds with some of the lowest effort animation I've ever seen. Clicking "end" will show the player a box which they need to click to advance the game to get a part for their mech, then to a map of presumably the island you're on. If you're confused by the flow of these events, then I openly invite anyone reading this to buy the game and try to explain it better. At this point I dropped the game and requested my money back. In the process of writing this review, I discovered a softlock I believe you could run into at any point in the game as pressing the Escape key on the Options menu then clicking Resume seems to have you resume playing a paused game state in the Options menu without restoring anything from the Options menu. I can't be bothered to keep trying to figure this game out as what bait the game seems to offer for the effort of figuring out what they won't explain seems to be poorly designed combat, 12 different colors of the same bikini as clothing options, and screaming in my ear with barely moving models it wants you to believe is sex. This game is genuinely a waste of time at any price point and is only worth learning from how not to make your own game.
This game is unplayable. No instructions and no way to utilize upgrades. I literally had no idea what I was doing or what was happening. Enemies are invincible after a certain number of battles.
The game is completely broken, after the first victory sex scene which was absolute rubbish, I pressed every key on my keyboard, the mouse wasn't available to click anything, it was just stuck Without some serious game fixes and updates, this won't even pass as a crap game that I can ignore in my library REFUNDED!
Sexy Futa: Mecha Battles of Islands is a science-fiction role-playing game developed and published by Lust Zone Studio that combines mech combat, character customization, visual novel storytelling, and adult-themed content into a single experience. While many games in the mature-content category rely primarily on static scenes and simple interactions, this title attempts to build a larger gameplay framework around its premise. By integrating combat systems, progression mechanics, and extensive customization options, it offers an experience that aims to be both an action-oriented adventure and a character-driven fantasy. The game takes place in a futuristic world where powerful mechanical machines dominate conflicts across a chain of dangerous islands. Players assume the role of a pilot who must navigate battles, develop relationships, and strengthen their capabilities through a combination of combat and progression. The setting provides a foundation for the game's blend of action and narrative, allowing the player to participate in large-scale confrontations while also engaging with the various characters encountered throughout the journey. One of the game's most prominent features is its emphasis on customization. Players are given significant control over both their pilot and their mechanized combat unit. Rather than limiting personalization to a handful of cosmetic choices, the game encourages experimentation with appearances and equipment, allowing players to create a unique identity within the world. This focus on customization strengthens player engagement because progression feels tied not only to numerical growth but also to personal expression. Combat serves as one of the primary gameplay pillars. The battles revolve around giant mechs engaging hostile machines across a variety of environments. Encounters require players to manage offensive and defensive options while making strategic decisions about how to approach different opponents. The mechanics are accessible enough for newcomers to understand, yet they contain enough variety to keep battles interesting throughout the campaign. Upgrading equipment and experimenting with different configurations further enhances the sense of progression. The mechs themselves are among the game's strongest visual and gameplay elements. Each machine possesses a distinctive appearance and contributes to the science-fiction atmosphere that defines the adventure. The ability to modify and personalize these mechanical units adds an extra layer of depth, encouraging players to experiment with different styles and approaches. Watching a customized machine enter battle creates a satisfying connection between progression and player choice. Outside of combat, the game incorporates visual novel-inspired storytelling and character interactions. These segments help flesh out the world and provide context for the player's actions. Rather than presenting battles as isolated encounters, the narrative connects them through ongoing relationships and personal motivations. The story may not be the most complex within the genre, but it provides enough structure to make the player's journey feel cohesive and purposeful. The island environments help reinforce the game's adventurous tone. Different locations provide variety in both visual presentation and combat scenarios, preventing the experience from feeling confined to a single setting. Exploring these areas contributes to the overall sense of progression and helps create a world that feels larger than the individual battles taking place within it. The science-fiction backdrop is supported by futuristic technology, distinctive architecture, and colorful environments that complement the game's anime-inspired aesthetic. Visually, the title embraces a bright and stylized presentation. Character designs, mech models, and environmental details all reflect a strong influence from anime and science-fiction media. The art direction is clearly tailored toward its intended audience, with considerable attention given to character customization and visual appeal. At the same time, the mechanical designs receive enough focus to ensure that the combat aspects remain an important part of the overall experience. Audio contributes effectively to the atmosphere as well. Music helps establish the tone of both combat encounters and narrative scenes, while sound effects provide impact during battles. Voice work and character interactions further enhance immersion, helping the cast feel more lively and memorable. These elements work together to create a more complete experience than a simple collection of combat encounters or story scenes alone. Perhaps the game's most notable achievement is its effort to provide meaningful gameplay alongside its mature themes. While the adult content is clearly a major component of the package, the developers have also invested in systems that encourage active participation. Combat progression, customization mechanics, and exploration all contribute to a gameplay loop that extends beyond the title's more provocative aspects. This gives players additional reasons to continue engaging with the game over longer periods. Sexy Futa: Mecha Battles of Islands ultimately succeeds as a niche title that understands its audience while offering more substance than many comparable releases. Its combination of mech combat, science-fiction world-building, customization options, and character-focused storytelling creates an experience that feels surprisingly ambitious within its category. Although its specialized themes will naturally limit its appeal to a broader audience, players interested in futuristic action, anime-inspired presentation, and extensive customization will find a game that attempts to balance entertainment, progression, and personal expression within a distinctive setting. Rating: 5/10
This game is broken/unfinished, released on Steam, then apparently abandoned by the Dev who never came back to fix the game even after getting people to buy it. That's a reputation critical hit to the Dev...if they went on to future projects and learned how to make a working User Interface, they should have come back and recoded that in a weekend. But no. The game swiches between mouse-only and keyboard-only without noticeable pattern. So each screen you're on, your User Interface may change all the rules on the next screen. There are 'hidden' options you can click or select in the game that do things you'd probably want to select on purpose...but without a button or description, most people would miss them. This was someone's first game while they learned Unity. Likely they gave up Unity for an even easier engine or turned in their Dev hat to be a Player One like the rest of us. It's too late for a refund and it's been 2 years since the game was released...so...hopefully eventually the Dev figures out UI and UX and comes back to fix what's broken. Until then...enjoy the Trailers but don't expect this to be a game.
