Setup Developer Tool 2018

Unfortunately, after a lot of trying to make this tool work for me I found it useless. All documentation on the website is completely disconnected from the tool and provide just a general basic knowledge. Author should provide better description on how to better translate what you have in sim and a tool questionnaire? What if I am not a pro and do not have real racing experience?

Creía que era de carreras, pero es más para tener el conocimiento acerca de los automoviles. Si les gusta todo el tema automovilistico descarguenla , de lo contrario, mejor compren otra cosa.

Sehr empfehlenswert. Tolles Tool um Setups zu erstellen. Einge Einstellungen können allerdings aufgrund der fehlenden Menüpunkte in den Sims nicht umgesetzt werden. Aber da kann das SDT 2018 ja nichts dafür.

Ho ripreso a giocare ad Assetto Corsa dopo 6 mesi di assenza forzata e usanda una F1 al Mugello, non andavo sotto al 1:05.900. Ho letto varie guide e visto diversi tutorial sul set up, ma la teoria è una cosa, la pratica decisamente un'altra. Da dove inizio il set up? Che parametri vado a modificare per primi? Procedevo ovviamente a casaccio... Poi stufo di beccare quase 3 secondi al giro nelle qualifiche del Mugello, dagli ultimi piloti della ia, ho acquistato Setup Developer tool 2018 in sconto del 50%. Dico la verità: prima dell acquisto ero un po' scettico sull'utilità di questa applicazione, ma devo ricredermi alla grande. Attraverso una serie di domande vieni guidato al graduale setup ottimale. Si parte con il tipo di auto utilizzata, nel mio caso una F1, e dal tipo di tracciato e già ti vengono fornite le prime indicazioni su setup relative ad alettoni, altezza da terra e rigidità delle molle (quest'ultimo parametro io non lo avevo quasi mai preso in considerazione) e poi vieni invitato a fare qualche giro di prova. Mi siedo quindi nell abitacolo virtuale della mia F1 e subito ho la sensazione di non essere più su una saponetta. L'aderenza dell'auto è già molto meglio e infatti dopo qualche giro ottengo un 1:04.300. Ritorno all'applicazione che questa volta si concentra sull'altezza della vettura con ulteriori domande. In pratica ad ogni serie di 2/3 domande l'applicazione suggerisce delle modifiche sull'assetto ea cui dare riscontro dopo aver effettuato qualche giro. Il tutto nella più assoluta semplicità anche per un neofita. Pertanto il mio voto non può che essere un bel pollicione in su!

It is obviously great software because it just works. I use it mainly in Project Cars 1 and Dirt Rally. In Project Cars they are all like driving on ice until applying the suggestions from this software. As I go through the steps the car starts to handle the way I want it to and the lap times get better and more consistent. Now, I could muddle through setups with not much of a clue and maybe weeks later the car would be ok, but with this you can have a great handling car within 4 hours or so. Most of this time is spent testing out on the track. It gives you suggestions based on easy to answer questions. If you are not prepared to drive lots of testing laps then you will probably get poorer results. I like testing until I get what I need so it has definitely helped myself. I use a Logitech G29 Wheel so cannot comment on if it would benefit someone with a gamepad.

22/12/2019 Hoy no recomendaría este software, puede estar bien al principio pero ganarás mucho más comprando un libro ;). Es software no juego, no es una mala aplicación y aunque aprendes a configurar coches, que a mi me ayudo mucho, es monotona y faltan muchos parametros como por ejemplo Setups 4x4. Esta bíen si, pero su precio sería de unos 4-9€ aproximadamente.

It helped me getting good setups for my driving style, and when done, starting again from the start really improves a stable to a stable and FAST setup for me. Generally improved 4 seconds, on SPA circuit GTR 3 setups for which I thought could not improve much, only to get more unstable setups. Proved otherwise... Starting fresh from default, fine tuning for 2 default setups took 2-2.5 hours per car at SPA, also still learning the track as with good setups you can improve on correct racing lines easilly. I suggest starting a shorter well known track to set a baseline, to be refined at a track you will be racing.

It helps a lot in setup making!
