I enjoyed everything about this game, except the baton. Highly recommend.
In the ending the developers say that the game is dedicated to all point & click game fans. Well, having born in 1982 and come across titles like Gabriel Knight 2: The Beast Within, I am one of those fans and I enjoyed each and every minute of Session Seven. The story is good, rest is classical point & click elements. Nicely done.
Not crazy about the controls, it's very confusing. and a lot is trial and error - which is also not my favorite thing. But the reason I recommend it anyways, is because it's pretty consistent with it, and the story is great! Reminds me of 'we need to talk about Kevin' actually.
Short one room escape room puzzle game. The controls are a little cumbersome and fill up a lot of the bottom of the screen. But you get used to using them quick. The story line is a bit disturbing about family life. I still recommend playing this game for escape room fans.
Story and graphics are the only strong point of this game. It's extremely short, includes a senseless amount of pixel hunting and doesn't even have voice acting, not even music most of the time. Fortunately it's free, so only thing that you can spend to this are those few minutes you uncover the story. Potential - yes - outcome - meh.
Very nice game! Really enjoyed uncovering the story, which was somewhat disturbing. The music was nice and the controls were fine. I'm glad everything was much faster and snappier than the old school POC games that make you wait forever. My only critiques would be that you really clutter the screen with the different interaction buttons. You never need to talk to, push, or pull anything. I know it's because it's imitating a Lucas Arts game but that's just unnecessary. Also
you have to interact with that box on the right like 3 different times to get all the items from it which is kind of frustrating. It took a lot of clicking to realize i needed to interact with that again.
. I think it suffers a little bit from typical adventure game or escape the room game arbitrariness with the puzzles, but I think that's to be expected.
Fun little point and click game. Works well, story progresses nicely, loved the PnC mechanics for escaping the room. Definitely recommend playing if you enjoy the genre.
