Serena: Dark confessions

I needed a few starts myself to warm up with this one if i´m honest, but now i´m kinda hooked and wanting to know how the story unfolds. I think this game is higly underrated in the reviews. It has a ton of hot scenes, ten different endings, a story that is more than decent, a nice soundtrack that doesn´t get on your nerves and characters that you care for. On the negative end there is not much. A few typos here and there, the few save slots (only three) and the missing steam achievements are in that "bad" category. If you ask me there are games out there that are much worse with a higher rating, this one is better than decent, it´s a clear thumbs up.

Where do I start? All of the misspelled words in the dialog is the minor problem. Second, the childish perception the creator of this story thinks a American man that operates a auto repair shop is a weak, sniveling, & Nancy-boy is hilarious. In real life there are far more personal choices than have been incorporated in this story. Eric the "Low Life Pimp" is more a manifestation of Russian men than here in America. Julian isn't weak, he's contrite. He did wrong, but nothing on the level of a "Pimp". Obviously the writer has a rather bizarre understanding of the American legal system. Domestic disputes are NOT CRIMINAL! What is criminal is "Eric the Pimp" treatment of Serena, held against her will, abuse, & forced prostitution. I haven't reached the ending yet but I see murder/suicide as a potential conclusion. As for the wealthy couple that hires women as a toy, that's what paid Escorts are for, not exploiting female employees. There are laws & civil courts that thrive on that behavior. Paying them off the books violates "BBP", best business practices. The quickest way to get the IRS involved, open their books to scrutiny, they lose their wealth, & tax violations to say the least. "Eric the Pimp" needs to fall out a high-rise building, just like so many of Putin's enemies. Just tell the Pimp to go ahead, call the police. Nothing gets the law in America to crawl up a perp's rear-end like a rape charge. At best this is a "he said, she said" case. God this creator is stupid. Who wrote this story, a elementary student???????

Way too many character changes, lots of boring text, some spicy scenes but those constant character swaps seriously harm the story line and action, if I hadn't bought this when on offer I'd have sought a refund after 5 minutes, as of writing I've played less than one hour and completed one ending. Avoid, and prey that LOP don't give the next LWT the multi-protagonist approach.

good art but no guide in anyway

Here are my pros and cons. Pro: Great character models! Decent story. Cons: Absolutely horrible save game mechanics. Equally horrible skip dialogue mechanics. No option to back track if you miss a line of dialogue. No auto forwarding of dialogue. Frankly, the cons are enough to ruin the game for me. You are only allowed three slots to save the game and you can only save the game when switching characters/chapters. When you have played a scene before you are allowed to skip the dialogue up until the first choice you make in that section. After that, you cannot skip any further dialogue in that section. I also know of one section that if you skip the begining it takes you past the choice and forces you to pick one option. If you do not want to pick that option, you have to finish the section, go back and CANNOT skip the dialogue at all in that section. Missed a line or possibly misunderstood what you chose? Hopefully you saved at the beginning of the section so that you can start it over again to find out what you missed. There is no history of prior dialogue and no other way to go back a line. This game is a nightmare if you want to go down multiple paths or are a completionist. I cannot recommend this game until this is fixed, if it ever will be.
