I really enjoyed this game and I wanted to thank the devs for making it, it really resonated with me. That's all, thank you devs, if you ever see this. Even if you don't. : >
One of my favorite roguelikes. It has a huge amount of QoL features moment to moment that honestly feel great to use. Running when out of combat to explore quickly, Quick travel between rooms, well telegraphed attacks, easy to understand and use UI for all elements, combat, inventory, and otherwise. A journal to look at all discovered items and weapons and a sort feature besides. All that pleasant and player friendly utility on top of a fun game with lots of interesting builds. They all play very different, have different strengths, and have lots of room for improvement and tuning both in the game during the run and at home doing builds and prep. If I were to nit pick the game, some of the descriptions and effects are not super well explained and some things are obviously better then others. That being said I've managed to beat the game at Hard Mode difficulty 50 with every weapon type and every main 'element' or type, so you can make anything work at the hardest level even if it's a lot more restricted. Beyond the so-so balance of some things and maybe misleading description of a few items or effects the last thing I'd want to see is more options that are transformative or allow additional power at the absolute top end to try for 'dream' runs. In game examples being the crocodile skin that changes your defense to scale damage on a percentile, Or the lizard scholar skin that caps your max health very low but gives you infinite mana. I'd also like them to raise the max skewer count to allow more control over the item pool. More things like this would be a welcome addition but these are my very minor and only complaints. If you like roguelikes at all, or think you'd like this I'd recommend giving it a try for sure, well worth your time and money.
(Quick review and my quick thoughts on this gem, put simply, the game is worth the purchase) This game has been an amazing tool for working on my anxiety. The Kabbalistic overall theme weaves fantastically with the rogue-like genre, and I'm very surprised to have not seen it used yet like this. The serious aspects of the story are sparse, but I can't wait to see what they lead to. And any other storytelling is way too charming to not include in this review, many many reluctant smiles. I think back to when theses realms of funny-cute-charming and odd-grave-dire overlapped for a quick story event and the anger and shock it caused was a wonderful showing of intentional and artful behind crafting this game. The developers seem to not be attempting to put a new spin on the dungeon crawling rogue-like genre, which is admirable, I think attempting to mess with the tried and true formula results in a subpar product, seen in many other current releases. With that said, the developers integrated inventory management very very wisely, and although not a disrupter to the tried and true formula in this genre, is an innovative way of making the gameplay very unique to other releases right now, and it does not hurt that it is incredibly fun. The developers seem passionate about this project and although the full game was recently released, I can imagine free content updates (think dave the diver) for at least a couple more years to come. Congrats devs, this is product amazing accomplishment for everyone involved.
This is a solid roguelite you can play with friends. I love the hub system used for co-op play. The weapon variety is nice and the combat feels very responsive. My biggest gripe is the sapphire progression tree: I have 100% of it unlocked, but the board makes it look like it is hiding an additional 15-20 nodes, giving me a false sense of overall progression.
Игра довольно легкая, прошли с другом 60 уровень сложности за пару часов пыток...
又臭又长的狗屎流程,刮痧半天打不完,烂完了。
this game definitely deserves more spotlight
Приятный рогалик который сочетает в себе много интересных механик. Из минусов, немного искусственно затянуто время прохождения (босс ваншотит через катсцену, по сюжету несколько раз надо прийти в одно и тоже место, без возможности пробежать дальше)
