I really appreciated the in-depth tutorial, while I wish I could've explored more of the game right away, Renaud made it clear to me that I had a lot to learn - and learn I did. While I may not have understood what was going on most of the time, the driving music and my teams apparent massive success gave me a feeling of progress and fulfillment. 5 stars.

課金サカつくと本来のサカつくを分けて販売してほしい。2013年版のが面白い。過去のサカつくをデータ刷新するだけで良いです。やること少なすぎですぐ飽きました。
Game wont even go past the title screen after waiting over 10 mins. No change even after reinstall and restarting. What a brick of a game.
I've played for 350 hours, wasting 340 of my life. There are very few rewarding events, and the absurdly low rate of two bronze card pulls per week is ridiculous. The few events available are now limited by team compositions and duplicate pulls, making it feel like endless grinding. This time, after 11 days and 25 seasons, I only got the most basic rewards, and I just can't take it anymore. The last team composition update was almost a month ago. There are hardly any benefits, the rewards are meager, the gacha pool is incredibly deep, and PvP is unbalanced. There are so many problems. The game has been going on for months, and there's absolutely no improvement. I just can't play anymore.
SEGA FOOTBALL CLUB CHAMPIONS brings SEGA’s long-running football management heritage into a more globally accessible format, combining the club-building identity of the SakaTsuku series with simulation technology associated with Football Manager. Developed and published by SEGA, the game places players in charge of an entire football organization rather than limiting them to tactical decisions on match day. The central goal is to take control of a developing club, strengthen every part of its operation, and gradually transform it into a team capable of competing at the highest level. Its mixture of real-world licensing, long-term progression, squad management, and online competition gives it broad appeal, particularly for players who enjoy strategic planning more than direct control of footballers on the pitch. The experience revolves around building a club over multiple seasons. Players are expected to manage recruitment, training, tactical preparation, finances, facilities, and the overall direction of the organization. Success does not come from a single strong signing or one effective formation. Instead, progress depends on consistently making sensible decisions that support both immediate results and future growth. Investing heavily in established players may produce faster improvements, but developing young prospects and strengthening club infrastructure can create greater long-term stability. This balance between short-term ambition and sustainable management gives the game a satisfying strategic foundation. Squad construction is one of its most important systems. With thousands of licensed footballers available through FIFPRO and other official partnerships, managers can assemble teams using recognizable professionals from different leagues and regions. The inclusion of real players adds authenticity and makes recruitment more engaging, especially for football fans who already understand the strengths and playing styles of certain athletes. However, the game also encourages managers to look beyond famous names. Young players, overlooked talents, and affordable prospects can become essential parts of a successful club when properly developed. This creates room for different management philosophies, including spending aggressively, focusing on youth development, or building a balanced squad through careful scouting. The presence of official partnerships with competitions such as the J.League and K League gives SEGA FOOTBALL CLUB CHAMPIONS a distinct identity compared with many football management games that concentrate almost entirely on European leagues. Its strong connection to Asian football reflects the history of the original series while still allowing the new release to target an international audience. The broader selection of clubs and players helps make the football world feel more varied, while the involvement of major organizations and recognizable teams strengthens the sense that the player is participating in a connected global sport rather than an isolated fictional competition. Tactical management remains an important part of the experience, although it is presented in a way that appears more approachable than the most complex traditional management simulations. Managers can adjust formations, select players for specific roles, and establish a tactical identity that suits the available squad. A team built around quick attackers may benefit from direct transitions and aggressive movement, while a technically skilled midfield may perform better with patient possession and controlled passing. These decisions encourage experimentation, especially when injuries, transfers, or changes in form force the manager to reconsider the team’s approach. The use of Football Manager-related technology supports the match simulation and gives tactical choices a greater sense of credibility. Club development extends beyond the starting lineup. Improving facilities, strengthening training programs, and expanding the organization are important parts of turning a small team into a major football institution. This wider management perspective is one of the game’s strongest qualities because it makes progress feel visible in several different areas. Winning matches is naturally important, but there is also satisfaction in watching the club’s resources, reputation, and player quality gradually improve. The best management games create a strong connection between small decisions and long-term outcomes, and SEGA FOOTBALL CLUB CHAMPIONS appears designed around that kind of gradual reward. Online features add another layer to the club-building process. Players can test their teams against other managers, participate in competitive events, and compare the strength of their organizations through rankings and tournaments. These modes give continued purpose to squad improvement after the basic management systems become familiar. A carefully constructed team can be evaluated against human opponents rather than only computer-controlled clubs, making recruitment and tactical preparation feel more meaningful. Cross-platform functionality should also help maintain a larger community by allowing users on different supported devices to participate within the same general ecosystem. The free-to-play structure makes the game easier to access, but it also creates one of its biggest potential concerns. Optional purchases can be acceptable when they provide convenience or cosmetic benefits, yet they become more controversial when they affect progression or competitive strength. In a football management game with online competition, fairness is especially important. Players need to feel that careful planning, tactical knowledge, and patient development matter more than spending. The long-term quality of the experience will therefore depend heavily on how SEGA balances its monetization systems and whether free players can remain competitive without facing excessive restrictions. Its cross-platform design brings both benefits and possible limitations. Being able to manage a club across PC, mobile devices, and consoles gives players greater flexibility and makes shorter play sessions more practical. Management games are well suited to this format because many activities, such as checking transfers or adjusting a lineup, can be completed without playing for long periods. At the same time, supporting several platforms may require some systems to be simplified compared with a simulation designed exclusively for computers. Players expecting the enormous depth of a full premium Football Manager release may find certain areas more streamlined, although newcomers may appreciate the clearer presentation and reduced complexity. Overall, SEGA FOOTBALL CLUB CHAMPIONS has a strong foundation built around authentic players, meaningful club development, tactical decision-making, and accessible cross-platform play. It may not offer the uncompromising complexity sought by the most demanding management veterans, and its free-to-play economy remains an important area to watch. Even so, its combination of long-term progression and recognizable football licensing creates an appealing management experience. For players who enjoy recruiting talent, developing young athletes, improving facilities, and gradually turning an ordinary club into a championship contender, it offers a promising and potentially addictive journey.
