About
Please be aware of this!
If you buy it before then, you’ll keep it forever in your Steam library. It will remain fully playable after the store page is removed.
You'll find yourself stranded in the creepy forests of North America. Things might seem peaceful, but don't be fooled as these grounds are cursed. You're not alone and these haunted forests are home to a legendary creature called The Wendigo. This bloodthirsty predator is fast, smart, has great senses and will do everything it can to take you down. To break the curse you'll need to find and burn totems, the more you burn the more intense the game becomes. Therefore your best bet is to get from point A to point B as fast as possible, duck down to stay out of Wendigo's sight and use the ank to scan the environment for nearby totems. Simply sprinting until you find the totems will get you nowhere since the Wendigo will see and catch you.
CONTROLS
Controls for keyboard and non-VR controllers are really straight-forward, but how will Seeking Evil: The Wendigo be played in VR? Let’s have a look:
For the best experience we advise you to play Seeking Evil while standing.
To ensure better gameplay and a more immersive experience Seeking Evil doesn't rely on a point teleportation system for locomotion and the trackpad (Vive) or the analog stick (Oculus) of the left controller are used.
In order to sprint you can press the trackpad (Vive) or the analog stick (Oculus) of the left controller. There will also be situations where you’re chased by the Wendigo, here shaking the VR controllers as if you were running will allow you to increase your speed even more which might be a matter of life or death.
THE LEGEND
The Wendigo is a savage predator that craves human flesh and prefers to eat its victims alive. It's cursed to roam the tribal grounds of North America and is part of the traditional belief system of a number of Algonquin-speaking peoples. Although we don't know where it came from and descriptions can vary, one thing is certain: it is evil, cannibalistic, has an unending hunger and won't be satisfied after killing and consuming one victim.
This creature is intelligent, agile, possesses supernatural strength, has enhanced senses, and excels in stealth. The combination of these abilities allows it to stalk its victims without being noticed and once it has you in sight it's probably already too late.
Shovelware horror that looks much better on the screenshots than actual gameplay.

Release: 11th Sept 2017 Last Update: 11th Sept 2017 Removal: Soon Thanks for Nothing. https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/571340/view/600783816474230855 for Preservation:
Hi all, We would like to inform you that Seeking Evil will be permanently delisted from the Steam store in the near future. The game was originally released in September 2017. After many years, we have decided to retire the title from sale due to its age and the fact that we cannot guarantee stable performance on newer hardware going forward. This decision does not affect existing owners of the game. If you already own the game, it will remain in your library and playable. We want to thank everyone who bought the game over the years. Thank you for being part of this journey.
Game is on Sale, Get it now or never.
This is a quick and simple VR focused first person survival adventure game where you run around a smallish map, collect a few things and do some stuff to avoid being eaten by a Wendigo. The VR focus breaks this game. Developers must learn that while VR is great, if the only thing that makes your game great is the VR, then your game isn't great at all. And that's very true in this case. Resolution is locked in a hamfisted attempt to make the game run properly in VR, but this makes the game drop below acceptable standards for PC. Everything displays very low resolution and pillarboxed. Unacceptably low quality makes this impossible to recommend.
game is junk.. frame rate gameplay and controls it just pure sucks.

Пустышка
Взял как и большинство по скидосам перед удалением из стима. Честно, даже этих денег было потрячено прям зря: рандомно врубающееся затемнение, после чего беги в разные стороны, и попробуй не попасть под взор какой-то чупакабры.
