Greatest unserious game of all time no balance no fairness and a lot of sillyness for anyone that have sombody to play whit. or if the sunday racing ever gets a high enough player count. great silly gaming for any 3yr+ would recomend. real playtime at time of review closer to 4 hours+

"Seaside Racing" is a very badly made soapbox racer game with some of the worst graphics I've seen for a long time. Obviously everyone hates asset flipping, this is understandable, and we should be grateful when developers who don't know what they're doing don't bother with plagiarising other people's assets. But when you also have no idea how to make your own game assets, this results in a product that's just as bad, if not worse than the asset flips we all hate. So is the case here. The game is riddled with bugs, it's clunky, and god the assets are just so lazy... 5 minutes with Blender and we're done. What do you do in the game? Soapbox racing so bad you may suffer an aneurism. The game is really simple and unambitious in terms of implementation, more of a tech demo or one of those cases where an amateur developer spends $100 to publish something on Steam Direct to see if it's possible. Yes, obviously it's possible. A proof of concept, tech demo, or something that's less than a little blip on the radar isn't offering anything truly valuable to gamers. The graphics here are particularly awful, so bad that it actually stands out as one of the worst looking games on Steam. Quite an accomplishment. It's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $3 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the game to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who showed enough questionable judgement to pay money for this... nobody got refunded. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's over 130 million unique gamers visiting Steam every month. SteamDB showed the game peaked at [b]only 11 concurrent players[/b]... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Given that this free title won't increase your game collector count, is it worth your time to add it to your library? I think you should give this one a miss. Although it's free, your time and storage are valuable resources, and the market is filled with superior options. [b]Note: Joke reviews[/b] As usual, with some of the worst games on Steam, all the comedians come out of the woodwork. The vast majority of the reviews for this game are joke reviews, mocking the game for just how bad it is. The comedians give us the usual "this game cured my cancer, saved my marriage, changed my life" story... sarcastic, but not useful if you want to know if the game is worth it. Because most of the reviews are humorous but also insincere and not reflective of the actual quality of the product, the positive review score for this game should be taken with a grain of salt.

Great game, try controlling two characters at the same time! Double the racing in half the time!
