Deep within a secure underground facility, a sudden containment breach allows many of the secured anomalies to escape from their chambers. Assist the Foundation in re-securing the facility, help the Insurgency in their goal to capture it, or wreak havoc as an SCP in a frantic bid to escape.

I have to be honest. There are a lot of small-team, community driven games, that start terribly, and slowly but surely, it gets patched to peak. Project Zomboid is a good example, others include Misery, and Rust. This is the opposite. This game? God, was it fun; if you're not a social outcast, or love good multiplayer 'slop', with friends or randoms, this game can be a blast. The chaos of SCP's Site-19 is a great setting for a PVPVP boss battle arena, A lot of the handfuls of SCPS have to coordinate with eachother to solve eachothers glaring weaknesses, while Humans would rather split up until the site is controlled by one human team; this leads to many fun and crazy moments, such as fighting other humans, as an SCP emerges from the darkness and turns the small, controlled, firefight into a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of screams, as everyone scatters. This game can be terrifying, too, with the layout, suspense and horror. Was, being the operative term. Now, as the game grew, and its community the same, it is driven by its community, and as such, you are at is whim. The official servers are few and far between, and fill fast depending on when your playing, leading the community servers to fill the rest of the server list, and, I'd avoid joining them; I have had games where admins will abuse privileges, change game rules and even force themselves onto teams, gaining advantages no-one else knows. I have had games where the server absolutely dogchokes on the long shlong of the host, screaming for dynamic things such as 'server events' to happen, and I have had games where I'd join a server, unknowingly, with it being modded, which either has no mods except custom SCP's which are not balanced, at all, or so many mods I can't look at the screen without my eyes screaming copyright infringement. Now, looking at the dev notes, online posts, and information about the developers, I fear this game is going to go down a similar path of other game devs. Social pressure crumbles studio's hard; look at CD Projeckt Red. The team's are rushing new content and fixing up the game due to complaints and arguments by idiotic and braindead community members, to where they are neglecting the current (tenous, at best) game balance the game has. This game does not need more broken, game-changing SCPS and SCP items to continue being fun. The best case is SCP-3114; They are horribly unbalanced, ruined the flow of the game, and destroyed any enjoyment I had playing human. As a community mod however, you'd expect it to be just that. Now, the devs are ACTIVELY INCLUDING this SCP, without major changes or balance, in its argument for balancing new content. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but the last time I played this game, SCP-3114 literally didn't exist; it was a goofy mod for goofy, alternative COMMUNITY servers. How would this SCP affect game balance if it isn't actually in? And now, with the new SCP, the state of the game terrifies me. This new SCP reads like a carbon copy of SCP-3114, talks about SCP-3114 in its developer official statement, and its abilities are extremely similar, if not the exact same. On its reveal, there were a lot of people calling it 'gooner bait', which, honestly isn't too far off; it seems to have gone a massive redesign since then, and it now looks extremely like SCP-1471. Without too much detail, I fear they are not going to correctly portray the character's design of SCP-953, leading to the massive problem with the SCP itself: How are you going to portray this SCP's character as a demon with the ability and history of convincing a mother to roast and eat her own child, and not a gooner-bait shapeshifter like you planned? Plus, the terrible, knock-off shapeshifter abilities it has taken from its community, It feels like a step backwards. Honestly? after everything I've seen by the Dev team, the community they foster and engage with and playing the game itself, I can firmly say, the developers are definitely not beating the furry gooner allegations, because, my god, some of the moderators on the community servers have already failed.
