I thought SCP: Secret Laboratory was just another multiplayer horror game where you run around a dark facility trying not to get killed. I was wrong. The graphics are simple enough. The gameplay seems simple enough. You spawn in a facility, figure out what is happening, and try to survive. Then everything goes wrong. You never really know who you can trust. Someone might be helping you one second and running away from you the next. The lights go out. An SCP appears. Someone starts screaming over voice chat. And suddenly, survival becomes everyone's problem. What I love most is that SCP: Secret Laboratory doesn't need to script every scary moment. The players create them. Every round feels different because every group of people makes different decisions. Sometimes you work together. Sometimes you betray each other. Sometimes you have absolutely no idea what's happening. And somehow, those are the best moments. I've played horror games with bigger budgets, better graphics, and carefully written stories. I don't remember most of them. I'll remember the facility. I'll remember the screaming. I'll remember the one person in voice chat confidently saying, "Trust me," immediately before everything went horribly wrong. Some games are fun while you're playing them. SCP: Secret Laboratory turns complete strangers into allies, enemies, and unwilling participants in the most chaotic horror story imaginable. 100% recommended.
