An endless runner combined with rock, paper, scissors. Change your icon to beat the other icons and get as far as you can. Harder than it seems. Rock, paper, scissors SHOOT! https://youtu.be/uZBjvPT9hic
soundtrack is awesome
RPS Runner, developed and published by Thugnificent, is a minimalist arcade experience that transforms the familiar rules of Rock–Paper–Scissors into a fast-paced reflex challenge. Instead of being a simple hand game of chance, the classic triad mechanic becomes the foundation for an increasingly intense endless runner-style gameplay loop. The result is a compact but surprisingly addictive title that emphasizes speed, pattern recognition, and quick decision-making over complexity or narrative depth. At its core, RPS Runner is built around constant forward motion. The player automatically advances while a steady stream of incoming symbols approaches. Each obstacle represents either rock, paper, or scissors, and survival depends on selecting the correct counter before contact. What begins as a manageable rhythm of decision-making gradually accelerates, tightening the margin for error and transforming the game into a high-pressure test of reaction time. The elegance of the design lies in its clarity: every failure feels like a momentary lapse in focus rather than an unfair mechanic. The simplicity of the rule set allows players to grasp the game instantly. There are no tutorials weighed down by exposition, no layered upgrade systems, and no distractions from the central mechanic. Instead, RPS Runner focuses entirely on sharpening reflexes. As speed increases, the mental process shifts from deliberate thought to instinctive recognition. Players often find themselves entering a state of flow, reacting automatically to patterns rather than consciously calculating each choice. Visually, the game adopts a clean and functional aesthetic. The symbols are bold and easily distinguishable, ensuring that the player’s attention remains on incoming threats. There is little ornamental design or elaborate animation; the presentation favors clarity and responsiveness over spectacle. This restrained visual style supports the fast-paced nature of the gameplay, reducing clutter and allowing quick recognition to remain the primary skill. The sound design complements this approach with straightforward audio cues that reinforce successful actions or mistakes. Rather than overwhelming the player with dramatic effects, the game maintains a focused sensory environment that aligns with its arcade roots. Every element of the design seems calibrated to keep the player’s attention squarely on the moment-to-moment challenge. Replayability stems primarily from personal score chasing and achievement hunting. With leaderboards and Steam achievements integrated, the game encourages players to continually attempt longer runs and higher scores. Each session is brief, making it well-suited for short bursts of play. This design aligns perfectly with the endless runner philosophy: quick attempts, incremental improvement, and the constant lure of beating one’s previous best. However, the game’s narrow focus may limit its appeal for those seeking long-term progression or varied gameplay modes. Without additional mechanics or evolving systems, extended sessions can feel repetitive. The experience thrives in short, concentrated intervals rather than marathon playthroughs. It is less about sustained narrative engagement and more about immediate reflex mastery. Ultimately, RPS Runner succeeds by fully committing to its concept. It takes a universally understood mechanic and reframes it as an arcade endurance test. While modest in scope, it delivers a clean, energetic experience that rewards precision and mental agility. For players who appreciate minimalist design and reflex-based challenges, RPS Runner offers a focused and satisfying diversion built around the timeless logic of rock, paper, and scissors. Rating: 5/10

literally just another game that is way to short for its price :/, im kinda getting tired of this.
