Royal Romances: Battle of the Woods Collector's Edition

I'm not good at reviews but my friend Jo suggested that I do one. So am going to try. Bottom line the game runs and hear the voice but am Getting a Black Screen. Have to use Task Manager to shut it down. I bought the game Royal Romances - Battle of the Woods CE from Steam on June 21, 2023. The game was released within days of being released on BF back in Nov. of 2022. I have uninstalled it a few times and tried it again but the same thing happens. Even though it says compatible with window 10 on Steam Store Page after downloading the game checking on the compatibility it shows it's only compatible up to windows 8. I tried doing the compatibility mode of window 7 and 8 but that didn't work. I also tried using The Troubleshooter in the games properties but I got this message: "An error occurred while loading the troubleshooter: An unexpected error occurred. The troubleshooter wizard can't continue". Why I don't know since I tried it on other games and the Trouble Shooter worked fine. I had to replace my windows 7 a few months back so now I have a brand new desktop computer Windows 11. I have had no problem with any of my games until now. My real old games play fine and so do my newer ones. So this has never happened to me before. Maybe there are no reviews or discussions on this game so far because most can't play it. What I learned from my friend I would suggest when buying newer games from DO Games (Domini) is to Try Before You Buy. BFG lets you do Demo's of games and don't have to buy from them and don't have to be member to do so.

This game worked perfectly for me. (Windows 11) I succesfully finished the main+bonus+dlc game without any bug or glitches!!!! Solved all its puzzles and found all the collectalbles, in less than 8 hours. The Royal Romance storyline is what difficult to follow, as every character has its own little separate story in several chapters. I will keep this finished game installed on my pc. I do love the puzzles and now that I have finished the full game, I'm able to access and replay them all through the Collection edition extra menu. I can solve the minipuzzels in the hard or easy mode. And use an alternate match3-puzzle help me the last of the hidden objects of the HOG - puzzle. I always read the reviews before buying a hidden object game like this one. Here on Steam and on the Bigfish website. And this game got some negative reviews. Not every player was able to finish this game! I bought this collection edition game with its DLC in a sale. I would not have bought this game for the full price and risk encounter a game-stopping bugs after 2 hour gameplay. After 2 hours gameplay Steam will not only refunds a not working game.

Ich muss sagen, dass mir die Fantasie- Spiele besser gefallen als die Kriminalfälle...somit gebe ich eine Kaufempfehlung für dieses Spiel.

I liked the story in this game. I also liked that one of the romances is between a middle-aged couple and one isn't a romance but platonic. It's nice that there's a little variety. And like almost all of these games, the art is beautiful and well done.

Great game! Beautiful graphics & atmosphere and a fun storyline. There are not very many puzzles or HOG's compared to a typical game like this, but the ones that are there are engaging and interesting. Lots of trinkets to collect in every scene. There are a few times that you need to click on a specific target to make an item work, so there were some irritating moments when I had the right item but wasn't clicking it on the right place. Overall however, the game is not overly difficult, but not super easy either and has relatively reasonable logic in its solutions.

It is a nice story, but I almost had no HOG Games which was so bad in terms of hanging....really frustrating...it has several chapters...I got it reduced but even that is not worth it for this quality. :-((

très beau jeu à choix multiples avec un vrai niveau bonus et fort coloré. Même si ça ne vaut pas un jeu Artifex, il est très agréable à jouer.

Die deutsche Übersetzung ist ja mal wieder richtig daneben, Beispiel, ein Blasebalg ist Nadel und Faden, Streichhölzer sind "Ein Schlüssel" wenn man schon etwas übersetzt dann sollte man nicht Google Schmutz Translator nehmen. Für die Übersetzung Note 6 ansonsten ist es ok, wem das stört dann besser nicht kaufen. Es nervt halt wenn man nach etwas sucht was anders im Spiel heißt.
