About
You have been granted the privilege to attend a magical institution as a college age student, but that privilege has to be earned every day. Play with up to 4 players in a team and compete with other teams in magical classes and clubs to earn points for your team. The best teams will be allowed to continue to the next game day and study advanced topics. All other teams will have to return to the first game day and start over.
Classes are taught and graded by the teachers of the institute. In every class you will learn a new magical skill and then proceed to apply this skill to earn points for your team. The following subjects are taught at the institute
Combative Magic: Learn spells to defend yourself against other witches and wizards
Alchemical Studies: Brew magical potions to gain special, temporary buffs
Repulsion of Monsters: Study a variety of monsters that you may face when exploring the institute and learn to repel them
Manipulative Magic: Study magic that allows you to alter the environment to your advantage
There are no health points. Each spell has a unique effect and you will often have to combine different spells to defeat other players or monsters.
Each spell has a unique pattern that has to be drawn to cast that spell. There are no short-cuts. The better you master the spell patterns, the faster you will be to respond to threats.
The institute offers many options to polish your magical skills and gain an advantage over your peers. Points may be earned in clubs such as the Duelling Club. Secrets are hidden throughout the institute, often requiring specific spells or potions to be uncovered.
The institute imposes strict rules upon all students. Choose your own path as a model student or trouble maker and live with the consequences.
