I got this game from a contest, and I love it! The random generation, the moves, everything! Definitley buy this if you love a random challenge where no two plays are the same! SHOUT OUT TO Dubious ♥♥♥♥ Gaming
Rogue Singulariry is an exemplary early-access game as it is fully-functioning, more polished than you would expect, fun and able to be played with minimal bugs (less bugs than some AAA games I've played anyway). It is a throwback to old-school, 3D platformers with a particular focus on speed-running. When I say "old-school", I'm thinking of of Mario 64 or Super Mario Galaxy, Crash Bandicoot and Ratchet and Clank. Rogue Singularity has managed to emulate those games while still bringing in some uniqueness into the mix. This uniqueness comes not just from the speedrunning element, but also from the procedurally-generated levels; modern, colourful, sci-fi graphics; and a great soundtrack. My one complaint is that while you can probably complete the main game in between 30-50 minutes, I am yet to finish due to how difficult it is at the very end. So I guess the complaint is with myself as the game's difficulty does increase at a steady rate. I would recommend this game to anyone who's looking for a nice-looking, replayable challenge.
Thi game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good. It's like all the best bits of Crash Bandicoot, Mario Galaxy and Ratchet and Clank got together and had a party. Seriouly this is so much fun, it feels great and music is awesome. It's teh perfect 3D platformer. I'm so happy to see this genre making a comeback. SICK GAME.
i met one of the dev(s) at pax. really nice person btw he gave me a key because i literally only played this game at pax because it was so fun! thank you to the person that gave me the early access key i love this game!
bad level design, inconstant platforms that helps me skip most of the level the fan thingy makes the game boring it makes me skip most of the level in a slow way the whole battle system is weird if there is one, especially the boss WTF WAS THAT ? DODGE SLOW ASS ATTACKS AND GRAB A COIN WOW the base is really good but you can polish it to make it actually fun
I love the graphics and the music, what little I've heard of the voice acting is also great, and the gameplay is also fun. I don't like that once I lose all my lives I need to restart from the beginning each time I play. Because I'm unlikely to ever make it through the entire game, that just makes me more likely to look for something else to play once I'm dead rather than redoing the same levels again and again and again and again and ... Also, I recommend playing with an xbox controller. Playing on a keyboard and mouse was tough.
