Build your robot. Battle your robot. Robot Rumble 2 is the premier robot combat building simulator, where you create your robot from real-world inspired parts, then drive it in the arena to defeat other robots.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.

While this game is free, and does seem like a cool, unique topic, Robot Rumble 2 falls flat on its face and throws a temper tantrum if you ask it to get back up. There is no tutorial whatsoever, and it is EXTREMELY confusing when going without one. On top of that, the community seems to be fuelled by hate more than their robots are filled with electricity. Another thing, they only interact on discord, so there's no way to get a tutorial without them.
Hearts of Iron IV is an easier learn than this and that is REALLY saying something. There is absolutely ZERO reason why I should join a Discord Server just to learn how to build something, I come from 72 hours of SimplePlanes experience, and I thought learning to build would be a walk in the park. I was DEAD wrong, but don't even get me started on the mods (Which are also exclusively on the Discord) WHY NOT JUST ADD STEAM WORKSHOP SUPPORT? Also, in the recent dev diary (recent at the time of writing this) There is ZERO mention of a proper tutorial, or Steam Workshop support, instead, we get mentions soundtrack and more content. Why add those when you could FIX THE 2 BIGGEST PROBLEMS THAT HAVE PLAGUED YOUR GAME SINCE LAUNCH. If you REALLY wanted to play this game, I would say to pirate it but the game is already free so that option is off the table. If you do end up playing it, be prepared for the most confusing game you'll have ever played.

This game has zero tutorial to find out how to make custom bots. I had to look up SO many tutorials to make even just one bot that slightly functioned good, and even that was a given. It was genuinely the worst creation game I've played, and the construction tool is the most buggy I've ever seen. When I wish to click on one specific piece on my bot, it suddenly makes me select a completely different part, like I wanted to do that. Another big turnoff was the lag. HOLY CRAP, the lag. If you wanted to fight two less complex bots? Fine, go for it, I got 100fps. Three bots in one arena? You can, but it won't be smooth. Four bots? It seems like the GAME has a limit, NOT my pc. I got only 30fps on the lowest graphics trying to put 4 bots in one arena. And depending on how complex the arena is (moving areas and such) the game destroys itself. My main issue however isn't any of that. Not the lag, not the programming, not even the fact there's so many parts you genuinely can't choose. It's the GLITCHES. If you fight two bots, there is a 70% chance they get stuck together and spin at the speed of sound and destroy each other. The only good thing I have to say about this game is the creativity, which gives me the ability to make a bot at any size, weight, and with unique weapons. Even if there are only a few ways to do so, it's not that bad. I know I only have 1 hour in the game, but a lot happened in such short period time. My decision: If you have a general understanding of programming, coding, parts, and what they do? Then go for it. But if you don't have any idea what to do and need to watch 5+ tutorials? Good luck doing anything, because there's still stuff you'll need to learn that I didn't, because I got bored rather quickly.
Great concept, but the community reliance and double standards are a dealbreaker I wanted to love this game, and for a long time, I did. A free game that had robot combat involved, oh the SECOND it was on steam it was in my hands. However, the gameplay when building a robot is tough and lacks tutorials, as far as fighting, that was the simple part, but honestly, that fits the robot combat genre well—it genuinely feels like a simulator for the sport. However, the game relies heavily on its external Discord community for support, updates, and custom creations. Unfortunately, the community environment suffers from severe double standards in moderation and cliques that make it unwelcoming. While I accept responsibility for speaking my mind and burning that bridge, the blatant inconsistency in how rules are enforced pushed me away for good. Furthermore, the game appears to be stalled with little to no recent updates, and recent Dev Diaries have missed the features players actually want. If you are looking to jump in, keep in mind that getting the most out of the game requires navigating a Discord-heavy ecosystem with systemic issues.
This is what a true sequel to Robot Arena 2 should have looked like. Amazing game, a bit of a learning curve as any sim game has but once you get the hang of the editor it is pretty solid! Very excited to see the updates coming.
The bull's been prepped She's on all fours I'm getting cucked tonight Here on Robot Wars.
game only came with 5 bots only 2 of which were decent enough to actually play the game. bot maker is very hard to use and requires a lot of skill that casual players likely wont have
epic game
the creation tool what should be the main draw is absloutley horrible want a good one look at screw drivers. this game feels like its still in devolpment between the crashes no tutorials way to complex yet unrewarding sytems unintuive controls awful community that expects you to nkow everything. also tends to crash bug out and doesnt run as good for something so low graphic yet not as physic intesive as it should be
