This game is a test of patience, and I hated it from start to when I was finished with the game. That's right, I didn't finish this game, instead, I knew after less than an hour. The game uses NO EXPLANATION. For that start, it only went downhill. The controls were the only thing that were tolerable. The game's music felt worse than a cheese grater that screams grating my ears off. There isn't even a mute button. Hell, there isn't even an options menu. Gameplay is boring, no explanation is given, and the graphics make my eyes hurt. This game deserves to be forgotten through the vast amount of better games.
this game reqires alot of presistance . i don't like when going trough corners some times i get stuck .awful soundtrack atleast with there were more songs or a action one. this game remindes me of a nes game with tanks where you have to protect a base but also destroy the enemy. i hope there will be a little of balanceing, enemyes seem to strong
"Robot King Part I: Rebooted and Ready" is the first part in an apparently abandoned 3 part series of crappy 2D top down shooters (but only 2 were made). Gameplay is brutally hard to the point it's clear no playtesting was done, you die almost immediately from these mine things that move towards you at twice the speed you're capable of and smack you until your health is gone. While there's some curiousity in the upgrade system and the two different game modes (respawning enemies or no respawns), the very poor game balance is enough to kill any interest in the game. That's if the terrible technical implementation doesn't suffice... this has been made with the completely garbage PyGame set of Python modules, instead of an actual, workable, useable game engine. It's like some Python junkies saw how bad GameMaker Studio is and set out to make something even worse. They succeeded. PyGame is crap. Following on from the poor game balance and terrible choice in game engines, resolution and controls are locked, and can't be changed or customised to improve the visuals or the control experience. A choice was made to use obsolete retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. These flaws push this game far below minimum acceptable standards for PC. While this part of the game series is free, the other part isn't, making this very much more of an advertisement/demo instead of a fully fledged game. That's just another reason not to bother downloading this "free" advertisement.
NOT RECOMMENDED
With such an elaborate title, you'd think they'd do a decent job, and it's a good thing this game is free! Graphics are but simple vector shapes. At the start, you spawn in the middle of four biomes, but beware, try and explore and you'll be shot to death by nearly impossible to kill robots. You must constantly save and kill yourself for you have no regenration. Plus, mobs drop a small amount of money and everything in the shop is overly priced.
I will say this game is pretty good and DEVELOPERS READ THIS!!!!!there is a GAME BREAKING glitch where enemys stop dropping coins and you can no longer progress at all
