Play as a robot flight attendant in this 20-30 minute visual novella with 3D exploration. Explore the ship, talk to plants, clean up, and most importantly: empathize with the captain as he tries to figure out some personal stuff during your lonely journey. A neat little visual novel, very few characters, but they are very endearing and it's interesting trying to see the world through Nim's eyes. Despite it being so short, you still get a window into the life of the Captain of the ship, and you still feel a connection to his struggle of trying to figure out if this is what he really wants to do in life. Lots of good humour in there too, it's well worth your time
A really short but sweet game, completed it in about 40min. Though simple in terms of interaction i felt i could empathise with the captain. Great facial expressions in the art, and pretty chill music. :)
Lovely short game about human connection and empathy, felt nice to play in a year that's all about isolation. Love the colors, and smooth controls :)
The premise for Robot Island is great. You are a robot on a starship with a captain who is losing his ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mind from boredom. Unfortunately, it just barely scratches the surface. The artwork is great and the dialogue is charming, so I wish they made an actual game with fun adventures instead of a demo. But still, I enjoyed the experience.
Very enjoyable short-game. Why is it so short?? Is there any hope for a #2 or DLC with a little more length??
This is a very charming game with hypnotic music, beautiful graphics and clever dialog between the characters. It's somewhat challenging and there are surprises along the way. I would recommend it for a relaxing diversion.
Great atmosphere between the art and music. A few really clever moments. Make sure you talk to the plaaaants!
A short and sweet story with just a few characters and locations but a super amount of polish. I loved it, especially the portrait flipping during conversation - it really made the serious moments feel more intimate.
Such a lovely little game! As someone who's always hunting shorter gaming experiences these days, this was a perfect single-sitting game. The atmosphere and tone is just spot on, the dialogue feels real and personal, and the sound and art just bring the whole thing together. Great stuff! So hey, instead of watching an episode of your favorite TV show tonight, why not take this unique sci-fi tale for a spin?
My only "complaint" or rather hope or wish for this game is I wanted more! I loved Nim and the captain' interactions.
