What a beautiful little game. It made quite emotional. Spare 2-3 hours of your time and check it out. It will not disappoint. As of now, there is a weird glitch that makes the characters "ff" and "fi" appear blank in the text. I hope the devs will fix this in the future.
I liked the way this game got me thinking about my relation with long-time or beloved household objects: e.g. I don't throw away or recycle really old laptops, I still keep them and they theoretically work, I like holding on to my old smartphones, etc. When you're with a piece of technology or a gadget for a long time, in a way it becomes an extension of yourself. The game also had a fun structure to it, the focus on a small setting meant that each small change to the environment felt significant, from characters vanishing, to bamboo shoots popping up. The addition of the flower-decoration system as a secret side quest was also nice, reminded me of those older Game Boy games which often felt mysterious when you found something you could change in an otherwise-static environment. I enjoyed Tetra's character the most, kind of this hard-to-get-along person who seems to put up a lot of barriers to getting to know them, but like there is some part of them that wants to connect with others...
Very emotional game.
I feel thankful I played this game. Yea, I cried too.
