I would love to play the game but as it stands, there is too much screen chugging & stopping. All my other games work.
Actually an S-tier mascot platformer that made me want MORE! Harkens back to Spyro, Crash and a bit of Mega-man! I wish there were more levels with more abilities, enemies, bosses, and mechanics! Support this developer! They have so much potential!
good
A nice short and sweet experience 10/10
My review was originally negative, but the recent update improved things just enough that I'll give it the weakest of recommendations now. The camera still sucks. It's at a weird angle that makes depth perception difficult, which caused me to miss jumps that I otherwise wouldn't. The player character blocks the camera when aiming at certain angles. The camera also jerked around at times, like during jumps when I moved next to an object. I ended up falling to my death while platforming a couple of times due to that. The terrible camera makes all the standard platformer stuff that should be a lot of fun feel pretty awful at times. Aside from the camera, my biggest issue is that the game feels a little more punishing than I'd like. Energy runs out slightly too fast, platforms are slightly too far apart, temporary blocks disappear slightly too fast, etc. This isn't a bad thing, but it did make the game less fun for me personally. Boss fights suck. The bosses' movement speed is so ridiculous that you're basically locked into a very specific way of beating them. Kiting or any sort of movement-based combat is impossible. You can't rebind controls, and the default dash key is Q, which I would have immediately rebound to something easier to use like R. Hitting Q did not get less awkward over time. The negatives don't ruin the game like they did before the recent update, but they do make it a lot less fun. I love platformers, and even though I love everything about this one stylistically, the flaws dragged it down pretty hard. That said, even in its current state, I still liked the game enough to beat it.

cool short platformer game, only took me 78 mins to finish it and I even took a break to check if there was a guide with the data logs, lowkey fun
