Although somewhat redundant, unnecessary, and (dare I say it?) woke; this DLC/expansion for an otherwise worthy game is worth it for this fanboy. All the bonuses and powerups gained in the original game are here which is a MAJOR plus in my universe. The sense of open streets, options, and duty that was present in the original game is noticeably absent. The setting is oddly claustrophobic in a Wolfenstein kind of way. Overall the characters and dialogue could've just as easily fit in as an optional but huge and rewarding quest chain in the source game (as is common in DLC/expansions). New weapons and villains are also here. The freeze gun brings back memories of Duke Nukem 3D from back in the day, not that it actually can put out fires. There are also plenty of condescending girl NPCs, junkies, garbage saturated cityscapes, and never ending hordes of random baddies who keep throwing themselves for sacrifice on the altar of the ultimate cyborg crime prevention unit from the 80s! The humorous radio ads are here as well, which compliments and continues the humor/satire from the source material. It just wouldn't be a worthy Robocop adaptation without that special blend of satire, gore, sci-fi, and social commentary. Be prepared for an uninteresting slightly woke plot with a few flashbacks that break the action/narrative for a bit. The plot of the source game is better. This one may be a DLC/expansion cash grab, but as long as it involves stepping into the role of the part man/part machine/all cop friendly neighborhood Robocop complete with Peter Weller's voice, ultraviolence, and splendid graphics it will hit the spot for me.

[h1]SHRNUTÍ[/h1] Pěkné pokračování, které si taková legenda, jakou RoboCop je, zasloužila. + trvalá dostupnost všech automaticky uložených pozic + dobře hratelné s ovladačem + originální podoba RoboCopa a dalších postav + výborná hudba založená na té filmové + super zvukové efekty + skvělá atmosféra + hra si drží surovost jakou měl první film + velká míra poškození prostředí + základní desky a montáž čipů vylepšující RoboCopa + možnost přeskočit filmečky i jednotlivé dialogy + střídavé hraní za několik "různých postav" - občas se uložení hry děje po dlouhé době - občas hůře čitelné titulky - mapa se neposune dle aktuální pozice - doprovázené osoby mluví s RoboCopem, ačkoli není poblíž a klidně se od něj i vzdalují - rychle mizející stopy (těla, poškození zdí) [h1]DĚJ[/h1] Došlo k útoku na policejní okrsek Metro – západ, je spousta mrtvých, něco bylo odcizeno, seržant Reed je zraněn a Lewisová ho musí zastoupit. Titulky je nejprve nutné zapnout v menu MOŽNOSTI/ZVUK. [h1]JAK SE HRAJE[/h1] Hra "RoboCop: Rogue City – Nedokončená práce" se ukládá automaticky v KONTROLNÍCH BODECH a zůstávají k dispozici všechny pozice i po dokončení hry a na rozdíl od základní hry zde není žádný režim pro pokračování. Občas se uložení hry děje po dlouhé době, jindy je jich několik během 10 minut. Celou hru jsem odehrál s OVLADAČEM a nečinilo mi problémy zasahovat nepřátele. Hned od spuštění hry jsem byl nadšen ze způsobu využití licence na originálního RoboCopa a dalších postav z filmů. Ruku v ruce s využitím velkolepého filmového tématu HUDBA a super zvukové EFEKTY budují skvělou atmosféru. Příjemně potěšila i skutečnost, že si hra drží SUROVOST z prvního filmu, takže nepřátelům zasazujete devastující zásahy. Míra POŠKOZENÍ PROSTŘEDÍ činí potyčky s nepřáteli zábavnější a efektnější. Za plnění hlavních i vedlejších ÚKOLŮ, za úspěšnost při jejich plnění a sbíráním důkazů získáváte body XP, za ně pak body dovedností a za ty si odemykáte body v OSMI DOVEDNOSTECH a každá má na třech místech ještě bonusové funkce. Ovšem, jelikož se jedná o tytéž dovednosti jako u první hry a jde o přímé pokračování, tak nezačínáte od nuly, ale všechny dovednosti máte už na první bonusové funkci (šokovou vlnu, štít apod.) Navíc rovnou máte 3 vylepšující ZÁKLADNÍ DESKY (aktivní může být jen jedna a další získáte v průběhu hry), do kterých montujete několik typů ČIPŮ a tím vylepšujete rychlost přebíjení, velikost zásobníků, účinnost střelby apod. Ačkoli to může vypadat složitě, tak zde mi to přišlo natolik vhodně zpracované, že mi činilo potěšení RoboCopa vylepšovat. A to nejsem fanouškem přílišných modifikací ve hře. Jelikož se "celá" hra odehrává v jediné budově, tak je to ještě více lineární než u předchozího titulu. Ale i tady jsou hlavní úkoly drobně doplněny o vedlejší a těch hlavních je ojediněle několik, kde si zvolíte pořadí. Ač hrozilo, že bude hra jednotvárná, vývojáři dále rozvíjejí specializované jednotky, vhodně obměňují prostředí a mění také náplň, kdy pasáže se střelbou párkrát přeruší klidný pohyb mezi lidmi žijícími v budově. Novinkou je též střídavé hraní za NĚKOLIK "RŮZNÝCH POSTAV" a i díky tomu se podíváme i mimo budovu a zažijeme nejen to jaké je to v "kůži" RoboCopa. Ale jelikož téměř vždy hrajete za RoboCopa, využíváte i jeho speciální VIDĚNÍ s identifikací cílů a objektů v boji a při pátrání, kdy u druhého dochází k jejich SKENOVÁNÍ a vyhodnocování. Při konfliktu samozřejmě STŘÍLÍTE, sbíráte různé zbraně (já si ale oblíbil základní Auto-9, která díky vylepšením uděluje solidní poškození), OCP obnovovací články, díky kterým REGENERUJETE svůj stav (případně lze využít pojistkové skříně) a třeba po sebrání nábytek, monitory, kontejnery a plynové bomby i HÁZÍTE. Pokud jste blízko lze případně uštědřit ránu PĚSTÍ nebo nově u určitých objektů provést okamžité DORAŽENÍ nepřítele. Po dohrání hry na vás tentokrát nečeká žádný režim "nová hra plus". Nicméně díky přístupným pozicím můžete alespoň doplnit pár chybějících achievementů. Zde se může hodit možnost přeskočit filmečky i jednotlivé dialogy rozhovorů. [h1]CHYBY VE HŘE[/h1] [list] [*]Titulky jsou sice dvojité, ale to nestačí a ve světlých scénách písmo zaniká. Škoda, že tu není možné přidat ztmavení obrazu za textem. [*]Mapa se při otevření neposune dle aktuální pozice. [*]Doprovázené osoby mluví s RoboCopem, ačkoli není poblíž a klidně se od něj i vzdalují. [*]Rychle mizející stopy (těla, poškození zdí). [*]V části Dokonalý koncept přijde zpráva na PC, kde je ale uvedeno "SCHRÁNKA - 0 NOVÝCH ZPRÁV". [*]V části Led a ocel je kancelář mimo mapu. [/list]
