Rivals of Aether

Best fighting game ever solely because I can play as Walter White Hamster. Legitimately, this is the most satisfying and response "platform fighter" ever made. The controls are significantly better than smash bros due to it taking more advantage of the array of buttons on your controller, vanilla balancing is perfect and very fun, good variety of modes and extra content, and the workshop, good Lord the workshop. The workshop alone makes this game worth every single cent. Character creation is far easier than you would expect from fighting game modding, and you can do some insane stuff with the map tools. There have been fully playable recreations of Uno, Connect 4, Flappy Bird, and even DELTARUNE made in this game. Thank you to Failboat for introducing this absolute gem to me back in 2019. I'll never forget the epic battle between Pissing Mario and a wooden door.

Love this game. Best 30 bucks I've spent maybe ever. So much fun to play and workshop is amazing. My only complaint (and even so I could be wrong here) is that it doesn't save custom controls to a profile. You have to set them up every time you open the game, but that's just a little nitpick I have with this otherwise completely awesome game!

The Game was fun with a friend but online froze every 10 seconds and there weren't that many controller options. So fun but not worth the price tag.
