About
In this tense multiplayer game of deception, you and up to three other cultists compete to summon your eldritch patrons. Place hidden tokens, manipulate the odds, and lure your rivals into catastrophic mistakes. Will you shape the Rite to your advantage, or tempt fate and be devoured by the power you hoped to command?
1. See the deck. Each round begins with a deck revealed to all players, then shuffled and randomly dealt.
2. Play your hand. You must place a set number of hidden cards (Tributes or Patrons) onto the table.
3. Make your bet. Predict how many Tribute cards you can safely claim without revealing a Patron. The highest bidder takes control of the Rite.
4. Draw your fate. Pull cards from your own pile first, then from others in the order you choose. If you fail to collect enough Tribute, or you expose a Patron, the Rite backfires.
Complete the Rite twice to unleash your dark god and brutally eliminate another cultist of your choice
But beware, the others will do anything to stop you
If you fail the Rite, you must play an increasingly dangerous game of chance - unless you can convince another player to help you
Beware the Jester card. If it sabotages a Rite, all players could be at risk
Four different cultists to choose from, each with their own unique eldritch master
Will you summon a tentacled horror? A world-devouring snake? How will you destroy your enemies?

Started one game and couldn't put it down. Perfect to sit down with friends and banter with for hours. The character design is really compelling and works great with the overall vibe of the game. Even playing with bots was so unpredictable I found myself losing more than I'd like to admit... 10/10
Fun indie game, best to play with friends, worth the small cost for a night of fun. Make it a drinking game and see your night melt away! Do not recommend playing with a 2 year old nearby.
Neat little indie game that's just a common card game with an occult coat of paint. It's basically that one episode of Vox Machina where Pike plays Zerxus in the skulls game. The nice thing is, the game is basically infinitely replayable because of that. Worth a fiver if you're playing with friends.
A great game to play with friends! Love the mind game elements and eldritch horror vibes.
Loved it! This is my second time playing Rite or Ruin and I noticed a couple updates 👀👀👀 My friend got a copy and he couldn't stop playing it -- had to cut him off haha 10/10 game
Fast to learn and a great way to test your friendships! See who you can really trust! With all the deception strategies I came up with, I can give even the sleeziest used car salesman a run for their money! Fun game to play with friends!
I have some seriously questionable friends. Their ability to lie, scream and make innuendo about the tentacle near me frustrates me. Great game. Terrible friends.
Fun with friends, a dash of horror and a bit of fun lying to your friends.
Game is decent. Like any social game its better with friends. Cannot recommended as a solo game. Little bit of body horror but otherwise nice for spending a night with friends.
