A lovely puzzle game, very sweet. The mechanics are more or less collecting symbols to use as answers to puzzles (mostly crosswords), which activate something in the world to allow progression. There is some variety in the puzzles and I enjoyed most of them. The story is lovely and hit me right in the feels.
Great little adventure puzzler where you have to collect letters to solve word-based puzzles. Gameplay loop is find a way to platform your way up to a letter, do that enough times to then have the letters to solve a clue on your word puzzle. The word puzzles vary but heavily involve crosswords and word searches. The really cool element of the game design is that solving a part of the word-puzzle impacts the world. As a basic example, if you need a bridge to get across something, you likely need to find/solve for the word "bridge" in your word-puzzle, and then a bridge will appear! Sound and world design are really fun and relaxing, puzzles have a decent range of difficulty but that will likely depend on how good you are at word puzzles. Some nice story beats to go along with it but it isn't heavily involved.

Cute little word puzzle game.
Unique puzzle concepts weaved into a wholesome storyline! :D
Beautiful game in story and simple elegant puzzles. Very adorable and a great way to be introduced to word puzzles :D
Only 30 minutes in and I already love it. It's a platformer mixed with crossword puzzles and some exploration to it. And it works quite well. The only thing that one could criticize is the price.. I think it's a little steep for what it is.
I loved this game. The combination of cozy art style, open world adventures and puzzles was amazing. The puzzles were hard enough to not be boring, but easy enough to not be annoying. There were lots of things to discover. And the story was great, very wholesome with a few tearjerker moments. All in all one of the best games I have ever played.
I played the demo before the game release. The game crashed a few times during playing. There was some issues with the game display and cropped the game. Troubleshoot by turning off full screen on and off again. I enjoyed the mini games like the snap and badminton. It was a welcome oasis to give your brain a break from crosswords (I am not good at crosswords puzzles). I did like the H20 and Ken puzzles, that was fun to work out. However the later memory puzzles with cube and footwear one, were the most frustrating ones so far. Sweating at the thought of the later puzzles being on a similar vein. Overall, the game was cute and challenging despite the technical hiccups.
Very fun word puzzle/platformer mashup with Metroidvania-style world progression.
I ended up really loving Rita, even though it frustrated me at times. It is a lovely, charming game that is full of character, and you can really feel the love behind it. The story connected to the developer’s nana gives the whole thing a warmth that is difficult to fake, and the ending was genuinely sweet. My main issue was the camera. It sometimes made movement awkward, but it was especially frustrating when searching for letters. Some could be hidden by the camera angle, and because the letters rotate, they can become almost impossible to see when viewed side-on. I spent a long time searching areas I had already checked because of that. Despite those frustrations, the game completely won me over. It is creative, funny, heartfelt and clearly made with a huge amount of love. Definitely worth playing.
