Highkey pay to win. I know they gotta make money out of the existing playerbase somehow but genuinely 80% of the content you would otherwise have or the builds you could make are just innaccessable unless you wanna dump fat stacks of cash on the DLC's. I only realised this after I played a few runs where I wasn't playing with my friend who had all DLC's, like genuinely the itempool is like a tenth of what it would be otherwise. Would definitely be a recommend if at least dlc's just gave everyone the item drops for it because I feel like just the unlockable characters are enough to be worth the money tbh. And the items added by the dlc's aren't even like niche or anything most of them are really good and apply effects literally nothing else can really replicate to the same extent. An example being an item from one of the dlc's making it so your burning effects do 4x the damage. The normal game without any dlc's doesn't even have an item that increases you burning effects ffs it literally just means whenever im playing a character with burn as a primary source of damage im always thinking "damn, i could be so much more effective right now if only I had sold my soul and dumped my entire wallet into this game".
