Fun take on both deck-building and turn-based strategy set in a world that reminds me of Terminator (early on after the machines have won). The prologue is rather short (only two levels, one if which is a tutorial) but it does a good job of showing us what to expect from the full game. Looking forward to playing more!
Played through the two missions available in the Prologue and it has wet my appetite for more. Loving the look and feel of the game, and I discovered I like deckbuilding games a lot more than I thought. Can't wait to see where the story goes and explore the world setting more.

Cards are randomly unplayable for the rest of the game, you can't do anything else than quitting the game and starting your mission from zero. Did it twice on 2nd campaign mission. Instant uninstall.
Recommended for fans of turn-based, squad-based, deckbuilder, and tactics games. Part XCOM, part Slay-the-Spire, set in a Horizon Zero Dawn-like world. If the full game gets some good polish, it will be well worth the time. +Visuals, music, setting +Hub for strategy/upgrades between missions +Variety of cards and player skills +Free prologue -No voiced dialogue -Barebones story -Sluggish pacing and animations -Some buggy cards -Looted cards are blurry and hard to read -No zoom, default is too close -Poor UI overall -Very short, only 2 levels
I recommend this to fans of turn based games who are cool with card based attacks. This is basically a free demo of the full version of Rise of Humanity, and it accomplished its goal of getting me interested in the full game which I have now wishlisted. Here is what you need to know: +High quality graphics detail, great antialiasing, as well as decent music and sound effects, but as for graphic performance... -Ultra graphics setting @ 1440p on my RTX 3080 maxes out the GPU with an average of ~90 FPS? Its not like I can zoom out wide, so I was hoping for something a bit closer to my 165 Hz refresh rate. +Decent variety of cards for tactical choices, though don't expect really deep synergies between cards. +Skills and card shops seem fair and decent. ?The hover text for base buildings (between missions) is quite light/transparent and may be hard for some people to read. ?No voice work, but serviceable dialog with a basic story.
I get that this is basically beta but at first I was just sad there wasn't controller support. Now I'm convinced not to buy the final game. The idea is great but a lot of the cards don't work as intended. Lasso can only shoot in a straight hex line instead of a straight line of sight. Ranged immobolize doesn't stop movement, it stops the monsters from playing "movement cards". And Move 3 adds currency 2, but ALSO DISCARDS A CARD. too bad that wasn't in the text. A lot of the cards will only do 2 damage when the text says 3. I cant tell if the enemies have armor that the game isn't explaining, or if it's just part of the code.
Weitere knackige Reviews findet Ihr hier: NICE-REVIEWS
Fun gameplay which surely looks great for an indie game. This prologue is quite short, but nonetheless I am very excited to see what the full game has to offer. The card system has a good flow of upgrade capabilities, they will surely help in the full game as I assume missions will be harder. This game is worth checking out if you are a strategy/turn based game enthusiast. The graphics are better compared to others I have seen.
