Been playing since alpha 8. think thats a decade ago now? yeah. Best game ever made. Not for everyone, but for people like me... nothing holds a torch to rimworld. that could possibly be you as well. If im not mistaken rimworld is in the top 15 best performing games of all time on steam, taken into account its launch date to now. I asked Ai about it and it pulled up a bunch of surprising factoids. im not going to recite them here, but i am suprised. This game is a juggernaught in the likes of minecraft and terraria. and all this time i thought it was my little pet game. If you can even call it a game. famously it calls itself a story generator. this is true. playing rimworld is like living a second life. and considering the average hours people put in... consider that true. litteral months, if not even up to a full half year of game time invested for me, as i've been playing since before on steam. this game will give a story unqiue to you that will live with you through the years. kinda like playing a firefly inspired single player dungeons and dragons. not similar in subject matter, but similar in that it will be cherished. the pawns. there connections, the trials and tibulations. if you need a permanent outlet to unplug from reality, this is your game. be warned, it may ruin desire to be a gamer that plays a huge veriaty of games. if your that kind of gamer, consider this but know you may transform. also note, most people do not finish any runs... this game is a time sink. a huge one. worth it imo but i would say this ins't everyones cup of tea. tottally worth it to find out though if it is yours. you may be surpised.
