Rift Coaster HD Remastered VR

[h1]Played On: [b]HTC Vive[/b][/h1] If you're reading this review, that's because you're either interested in virtual reality or you're already an enthusiast. That said, it's undoubtable that you've already heard about the original Rift Coaster; the roller coaster that started it all. The legend that made famous YouTubers overreact and made standing people fall on their butts. Now it's back, and in a remastered format. Although it's a legendary classic in its own right, Rift Coaster HD has not aged well in terms of enjoyability; even with improved graphics. It's the shortest ride that I've ever personally taken on a virtual coaster, clocking in at around 2 minutes. Yes, I rode this coaster three complete times just to write this review. The graphic quality doesn't even seem to change despite the low, medium, and high settings, but on the bright side it no longer looks like it came from the original Playstation era. They did add a fire-breathing dragon as well. With all that said, VR VISIO did put effort into this remaster. Rift Coaster looks like it was built again from the ground up in HD. As aforementioned, it's also a classic. It goes on sale quite often, so it's recommended to grab it for $0.60 CAD when you can. The full $1 price isn't too staggering either. Though others have had problems with stuttering, I had no issues on my GTX 1080/i7-6700k combo. Please bring back the old version. Can't get the "remastered" to present in the HTC VIVE headset The new perspective is not appealing.

UPDATED REVIEW, see original review below I changed my review to recommend. There's a few reasons for this. 1) Price - .99 cents is the right price for the content (very short ride) 2) Improvements - game runs much smoother now, still stuttered a bit on high, but on low and medium settings ran very well, dragon's fire breathing looks pretty cool now 3) Responsive dev - fixed the description, updated game, etc., This is one of the best looking VR roller coaster games out there, but it's just extremely short. Still a must buy for roller coaster fans. ---- The reason I do NOT recommend this game is because this developer is lying on the store page. "Crazy tracks", plural. This implies there is more than one track to experience. There is not. There is only one track. One track which you can exprience in High, Medium, or Low Settings. It's still one track. And I couldn't tell the difference between high, medium, or low settings (past the home page where you can see the effects on the shadows) other than the frame rates really stuttered on high (I have Oculus Rift with GTX 1060 and i7, 16 gb ram) The track is nice, but it's way too short. There's free demos that last longer. IF the dev was just honest, I could recommend this game because it delivers a nice setting for a roller coaster VR ride even if it's too short. 3/10 DO NOT BUY [spoiler] They even messed up the dragon, doesn't breathe fire at you, WTF [/spoiler]

最近无法正常VR运行 请问原因

I downloaded because I bought a mrvr headset. I wanted to check it out. Did not work past the install screen.

Не запускается на Oculus Quest 2 в системе Windows 11, пустая трата денег.

Компьютер соответствует системным требованиям. Игра не запускается дальше загрузочного экрана. Не советую.
