Fight, loot, fly, swim, cast spells, set traps, finish quests, discover secrets, craft items, unlock perks, enchant gear, and more. Explore randomly generated dungeons and try to outsmart your enemies - immobilize them, set them on fire, break their bones, lure them next to an explosive barrel and detonate it, push them into toxic water, and more. But most importantly, be ready for tough challenges that require smart decisions. Each run takes place in a uniquely generated dungeon, providing replayability, but not in a way that would compromise game balance or difficulty. Every scenario always has a solution, though it may sometimes demand exceptional skills and creativity.
Ever wish you could press CTRL+Z in a game? In Ricave, you can! Rewind time at will to correct mistakes or misclicks. Ricave is entirely deterministic: rewinding and making the same move again will yield the same result - no "cheesing" RNG to roll higher damage.
A missing leg slows you down, damaged eyes cause blindness, and missing arms limit item interaction. Enemies follow these same rules, so use this to your advantage in combat! You can also suffer from illnesses, bleeding wounds, broken bones, starvation, and more.
A potion can heal or harm you, boost your strength or induce weakness, intoxicate or speed you up, act as deadly poison, restore mana, and more. A scroll can make you levitate, teleport you randomly, summon a deadly creature, enhance your vision, rewind time, remove a curse, or inflict conditions like freezing, blindness, and burning.
Many roguelikes are challenging and so is Ricave. While permadeath usually means starting over when you die, Ricave lets you progress across runs by completing quests, leveling up your character, finding permanent items, and advancing the storyline. You'll also gain access to a lobby area where you can buy and personalize a private room with trophies collected from your dungeon adventures.
Roguelikes can be challenging, and going 3D adds even more complexity. Ricave addresses this with a clean, simple, and intuitive interface. High-contrast, stylized graphics will help you quickly understand your surroundings and let you focus on making strategic gameplay decisions. An in-game tutorial is also included to guide new players.
Ricave's code is structured to simplify modding as much as possible. You are welcome to expand the game with your own content and share your creations with the community. The game includes an in-game mod manager.
Ricave features a zero-lag, unintrusive movement input system, ideal for players aiming to master their skills and complete the game quickly.

This is certainly a masterpiece for the year for its genre. At first, everything will probably seem confusing, but the more you play, the more you understand the game mechanics. Ultra low system requirements, awesome graphics, sounds, gameplay & there's a free demo! Highly recommend!!!
I waited for the game to be officially released, but this is an amazing take on a type of game that we do not see as much anymore. An absolute classic favorite.
I've played long enough now to be thoroughly delighted by this one. Lots of systems in play, which is why the amount of clarity and legibility to the experience is so impressive. In my last session, my hunger clock was running out, so I decided to eat uncooked meat, which I would have cooked with a fireball spell, but I was out of mana, so the uncooked meat sated me but also diseased me, so started looking for fishing opportunities, so I could make fish oil to cure my disease, and so it went. So many little microdecisions spinning into new problems and opportunities, and more or less never have I died and gone "well, there's nothing I could have done". And even then, if you aren't rushing, you can rewind a few turns to see if you can pre-empt that critical moment before you doom yourself. This has some metaprogression, but mostly it is about expanding options and progressing the story, or getting cosmetics, or maybe buying one-off boosts. This is a roguelike that wants you to succeed, but won't succeed for you.
A very interesting game. The basic mechanics are easy to learn, but at the same time offer a lot of possibilities. I see a lot of potential for modding here.
A fun tile based dungeon crawler that is surprising the deeper you fall in. Always fun to see a fresh perspective in the genre and the first person makes it even more immersive.
An elegant, straightforward, and clean dungeoncrawler with plenty of depth and variation, which is unlocked as you go through meta progression, to keep you interested for a good while. The game generally does an excellent job at explaining everything what's happening and how everything around you works, though some things still could be made a bit clearer, for example, I had no idea how you acquired new spells/abilities until I just accidentally happened to hit the correct button when I noticed it just over my inventory, as that was one of the things the game never explicitly told me about it, I didn't even notice it until much later in my runs. Modding support out of the box is excellent and I can't wait to revisit this game down the line with some mods, especially as the game's main weakness is that there's not that much variety to the classes in my experience so far, modding will definitely help that a ton.
Its different. That's great. Progression through to everything including walls having tool tips. I hope it continues to surprise.
Fun little roguelike dungeon crawler with solid game loop, lots of systems interacting with each other in fun ways and charming art style. Recommended!
Really fun game! Wish more people were playing it
At present, there are still quite few things, and the talents, dungeons, and items of the characters need to be enriched, with great potential
