Nice Game ! Works as it should be ! For those who found it hard to play or the gameplay is weird well i guess they are not Retro Gamers at all ! (you have to be oldschool to like such games) Keep it up !

I appreciate the fact that this game is free, and that it is made by a very small team. However, sadly, I cannot say that it is a good game. To briefly summarize the game, RGBverse is an endless runner that has a combination of jumping challenges and some basic pattern challenges in the form of changing colors to fit the platform you are jumping on. There is a brief attempt of a story to the game, which while I'm not sure is needed, doesn't really hurt either. I believe that the concept of the game has potential, however the execution is very poor. I will say outright that I am generally bad at endless runners compared to many people, and they don't necessarily appeal to me as they might to some, however this game has no redeeming qualities compared to other "endless runners" that I have played. The primary reason for my criticism of this game is the incredibly poor responsiveness from the game. This game has what I would call "artificial difficulty" due to this issue. This is because the response time of controls are slow enough compared to environmental hazards that you are guaranteed to die some of the time if you do not know a hazard is coming up, and there are several hazards like this. I believe that creating environmental hazards that force you to die the first time is bad design, as it does not present a real challenge to the player, and instead delivers an insult. Along with the criticism of poor responsiveness, is inconsistent responsiveness. The game does not always seem to react to input with the same speed, or accuracy. More than once, I watched as the little ball I was "controlling" decided to continue jumping even though I wasn't touching the keyboard at all anymore. Sometimes you respawn stuck to the ground, unable to jump at all, which kills you in about a couple of seconds. After that, you can jump again, but little glitches seem to be all over in this game. Sometimes it lags a moment before switching colors. Other times it switches immediately. I had a boost pad shoot me straight down instead of forward like it should have. Combined with the artificial difficulty built into the game's design, this makes for a rather unpleasant experience. The graphics of the game are passable, especially considering it's a free game, but they look very inconsistent. Some things look pretty good while others look unpolished and awful. This combined with what I would call uninspired effects and artistic design, make the game visually forgettable. It doesn't exactly look terrible, however its graphic flaws are significant enough that it doesn't really look that good either. The music is rather bland and highly repetitive. I wouldn't expect anything more than that from such a small game, however there's nothing that sets it apart from anything else, making it entirely forgettable, much like the visuals. There is one consolation in the music though, and that is the fact that while it's repetitive, it isn't annoying, and it does not distract from the game at all. Many basic games fall prey to incredibly poor music choices, and even some bigger games do as well. RGBverse appears to do a good job avoiding that trap. This game claims to be a challenge to reflexes and precision abilities, however that is not quite accurate. By creating input delay and making obstacles that cannot be avoided due to said input delay, the game removes all elements of reflex. It instead replaces those reflexes with learned patterns and timing, which may not even help you if the controls decide to fail at that moment. The game does challenge precision through this action, however once again, in failing to have consistent responsiveness, even precision won't always save you. Overall the game ranges between painful to play and easy to forget. There are no standout qualities of this game, but many faults. If the graphics were more consistent, the music more defined or varied, and the controls responsive, this could be an entertaining game to some degree. In its current form however, it is poorly designed and poorly executed in nearly all of its attributes.
Very nice game
