Retro Rewind - Video Store Simulator

My first ''store simulator'' game and i might have ruined all others going forward, the controls are great, the progression system balanced and fun: it makes you look forward to unlocking more and the groth of your shop feels organic.

This was a fun game played on my steamdeck whilst on a 16hr plane trip. Brought back fond memories of my local video store. I love how easygoing it is.

Obsessed. Truly. Cannot wait to see more content as the time goes on. I may be far too excited about getting the holographic tapes and have a small collection in a little over two weeks in game. Gameplay loop is delightful AF.

Besides a few era consistency errors (toys from franchises that hadn't released yet in 1990) it's nearly perfect. Especially with updates keeping the game fresh. There is so much more that could flesh out the game and increase replay value, but for what it is, it's a lot of fun already.

Fun for a while but becomes repetitive fast. Hard to know where to start when organising the store, you can get overwhelmed quick.
