Retro Classix: Joe & Mac Returns

Devo ammettere che questa versione non l'avevo mai vista,ero fermo a Joe & Mac 2. La giocabilità ricorda quella di Tumblepop e\o Snow Bros, Che dire:viva i cabinati consigliato

[h1]Easy Single Screen Fun ![/h1] Platformers back in the 1980's and the early 1990's were often difficult (especially compared to games being released these days). Sometimes we just needed to relax and play something easy and fun in order to mix things up. Enter 'Joe & Mac Returns', released in the year 1994. This game has the classic 1980's single screen gameplay, but with all the bells and whistles of the 1990's. Expect at least an hour of fun, a few bosses and some good old fashioned "cheeky" humor. A lush colorful palette, nice animations and graphics that stood the test of time. Controller recommended. Have fun !

I feel like a lot could be done for this game, on a more presentable approach. Joe and Mac plays a lot like Bubble Bobble, except with a prehistoric theme, which is fantastic on it's own. You play as either Joe or Mac, two cavemen that rescue cave women from the threats of cutesy enemies. It's simple enough. I really do dig this game from it's gameplay to it's visuals, with it's nice charming, colorful arcade graphics. Very easy to get into, even though sometimes there'll be frustrating BS moments in the game like expecting you to be quicker than the hitscan or so. Though, I do say it still deserves a better presentation than what we get. You're stuck between two video modes - full screen and an arcade stand up box. That's fine, but I expected a lot more like resolution modes and windowed mode. The default controls they give you is confusing at first, at least it's changeable in the menu. I also can't get over how utterly basic and vanilla it feels when you navigate through the game's menu and even starting it. It's like the developers focused more on just wanting to get the game to run at all, give it a basic arcade environment and push it out - done. I honestly do find that a tad disrespectful. There's no save states or any other features crammed in, so don't go looking for those with this release either. It's just your run of the mill, getting this game to run on PC at all and call it a day kind of release. That is unless you've been around emulation, of course. All in all, I can just recommend it for the game alone, but get it on sale.

Joe&Mac Returns, o como yo recuerdo haberlo conocido en las "Maquinitas", Supercaveman Ninja es uno de los tantos juegos de DataEast, tipo SnowBros o Tumblepop, si los conoces ya sabras de que van, pero si no, se trata de un sidescroll en el que tienes que derrotar a todos los enemigos en pantalla, a lo largo de diferentes areas con diferentea ambientacion el uno del otro, en este caso con tematica Prehistorica, al avanzar por los diferentes niveles al final te enfrentaras a un jefe al que le tienes que lanzar los enemigos mas pequeños para hacerle daño, a lo largo de los niveles puedes ir recolectando comida para hacer puntos o algunos Power Ups que te facilitaran la tarea. Si jugaste en las Maquinitas o Arcades sabras que DataEast es sinonimo de Calidad, en todos los apartados, unos graficos hermosos con un diseño impecable, acompañado de una banda sonora increible, la musica del nivel marino es una de mis favoritas de toda la vida, y claro, lo mas importante, una jugabilidad totalmente pulida y de lo mas divertida, jugarlo con mando es una delicia. Its alright. just wish the characters had more health and didn't die after 1 hit. other than that this game is fun

adorable y nada complidado , diversion pero sin muchas vueltas, ideal para jugar coop local en familia , con amigos y dar unas buenas palizas prehistoricas jajaja un estilo de juego a lo snow bros pero sin nada que envidiarle , recomendable
