I like the direction they have taken this game and I personally prefer this style of gameplay. The setting and environmental design is really nice, the story line is very good and the game performance is solid. (I played it at native 1440p maxed out) There are no shortage of good puzzles although I felt the on the later stages, there are more puzzles than action scenes so the balance was off here. The game requires a MOD to make HDR look nice which has become the norm on PC, it seems modder's like RENO DX have just become unpaid HDR developers for game studios. Overall I enjoyed the experience and what they have done here.

I enjoyed it!
a nice tie-in/prequel to amicia and hugo's story! sophia is a fun character, the story is interesting, and it's not a carbon copy of the other 2 games while still containing several hallmarks/themes of the series (desperation, illness, scenes of desolation and horrific death, endurance, unexplained supernatural, friendship.) also got pretty pretty creepy at times imo. speaking of, there IS technically stealth, despite this definitely being a melee focused game, it's just a bit different than the more standard stealth of the first 2 games, so anyone who has any kind of stealth at all as a hard no, there you go. puzzles are SUPER simple for the most part, so don't go in expecting some serious head scratchers. the framerate did dip several times but i also insisted on playing on high-ultra settings AND capping at 60 fps. i could've fixed it if i had just lowered a couple more settings or had capped at 30 (never dipped below 38.) also, the ost NEVER missed. overall, a good time that i can see myself playing again someday (unlike APT requiem which, while great, hurts too much)
Go asobo !
I played this on Steam Deck on medium settings with no motion blur. Puzzles aren't too hard so it doesn't slow down the flow of the game. I'll admit I'm not the best at parrying in fighting games so I died a lot but there is a small skill tree that can help with dodging that kind of breaks the game a bit lol. You can make yourself invulnerable if you wish and the difficulty and accessibility features are as advertised. The story itself features some inclusive switcheroos as a warning for those more familiar with the mythology. As for the Steam Deck, I did experience some crashing even on low settings, especially at the end due to just many things spawning and particles from the large lights you shine around. So go SLOWLY. Don't blast too fast! Overall I enjoyed it. I did want to learn more about this once minor character from PT, so yay!
This game is excellent plot line is really good it's fun to play the fighting is good. I would highly recommend this game
