Resident Evil

Does not hold up today. Tried multiple times to get into it and just couldn't. Atmosphere is good, but that's about all that holds up. Fixed camera's suck, but I can get past that. I have played old janky games before. What I can't stand though is that the game basically consists of you running around a mansion finding random ass objects for random ass uses that make no sense. If you do play this, a guide is almost required. It does not give you any sense of objective or goal to go towards unlike the new remakes. Why would a logical person think, "Hmm... I picked up a piece of wood. It clearly turns into a map once I place it above the fire place." I get that games can be challenging. This isn't challenging though. Its just annoying and stupid. I can see how it was good back in the day when games were still in their primal stage. This needs a remake, bad though. It's crazy the amount of millennials online I see defending this game tooth and nail. Nostalgia is one hell of a drug. Save your time and just watch a Youtube summery video and skip to the remakes.

Lo recomiendo SIN DUDA. Si eres fan de la saga y/o los survival horror no te vas a decepcionar. Pese a que haya momentos donde te desesperes por no saber como avanzar, terminar cada puzzle es super satisfactorio. Y en el momento que lo termines será de lo mas genial. Después, el rejugarlo con sus modos alternativos es muy genial asi que aconsejo completarlos también(si aún les queda paciencia). GRACIAS CAPCOM, AMÉ EL JUEGO

It's classic and all but this game aged very poorly. Remake needed.
