What can be said about RE7 that hasn't already been said. Overall a great game with great scared that basically single handedly saved the RE franchise. I had a blast playing through this game even though I knew al the story beats and general gameplay from watching playthroughs and lore videos before getting the money to buy & time to play these games for myself. It's just a really fun time and I kep finding myself thinking back to RE7 ( and 8) and how much fun I had playing them after my initial playthroughs, than with 2, 3 & 4's remakes, while I ADORE 2&4, There's just something so charming about the main chunk of 7 that I really love. I do agree that I do not enjoy the boat and salt mine sections of the game, which does bring down the overall score for the game, it can't stop it from being in my top 5 RE games. What a fun time to be had with RE7. If you have had your doubts about playing, I cannot reccomend it enough.
