Siempre fue bastante duro con este juego, negándome a darle una oportunidad. Estaba equivocado, es un muy buen juego. Es divertido, tiene algún puzle interesante (haciendo referencias a juegos anteriores), y otros tantos guiños a la franquicia. Me parece un poco sobrevalorado el trato que se le tiene en cuanto al terror, a pesar de que su atmósfera está muy bien lograda, especialmente en la casa Baker. Gráficamente no es nada loco, sonoramente está bien, historia aceptable y un retroceso muy considerable en cuanto a las entregas anteriores (Resident Evil 6: desastre global; Resident Evil 7: una granja random infectada). Los enemigos son malos y su inteligencia artificial es aún peor. El barco es pobre. Las boss fights no son ninguna cosa destacable (reciclaron al peor jefe del Resident Evil 6 encima). Buen contenido extra. 88/100

RESIDENT EVIL 7. I'll admit, I was apprehensive when I started playing this game because of how different it was from the previous game but also it made my head ache. This made me question why people loved it in the first place, but after tweaking the settings and getting to play it more, I can see why people love it. The core gameplay mainly stays the same from previous entries that we all love, but the presentation is entirely different. Instead of focusing on action like the previous entries, it really leans into the horror aspect more. The story is good too, but it's not perfect. I love Ethan Winters and the Baker family. I like the twists and turns of the story, but it kind of fell flat on the later parts of the game. Also the inspiration of southern gothic elements really enhances the experience. I love sh*t like that, from Texas Chainsaw Massacre to the first season of True Detective. Overall, this game is pretty good. I'll give it a 7/10 rating, and recommend you to check it out and the Not A Hero DLC because that one is fun too.
