Resident Evil 7 is amazing even years later, it was a great revival to the RE franchise and the main gameplay resembles a lot classic RE's: The gameplay focused in claustrophobic scenarios in limited locations with a lot of backtracking and puzzles, limited ammunition and healing items very similar to RE 1-3 PS1. Weapons, shooting mechanics, progression, all done amazingly. The only problem here is the story: dialogues are just bad, they're terribly written and Ethan is braindead. Characters in the Family are all very interesting, although most of them give a comic relief to a game that's supposed to be horror, they're all very intriguing. Small Linux Issue: In the beginning cutscene at the car, the windshield will be color bars. Don't worry, those are the only few seconds it happens.
