About
Embark on a journey into the future of AI-powered conversations with our innovative 3D chatbot experience.
Important: We offer a demo version of Replikant Chat. Each month, we provide credits for a brief experience, allowing you to explore the app before deciding on a subscription.
A subscription is necessary, as Replikant relies on external AI services like ChatGPT and ElevenLabs. This cost primarily covers those services rather than being a charge from us. AI service prices are decreasing, so this will evolve over time.
Steam labels our app’s download button as "Free to Play," though we prefer "Demo" to better reflect the experience. The official category for Replikant Chat is "Simulation," not "Free to Play." Thank you for your understanding!
User-Friendly Interface: our extraordinary 3D characters, navigating them with ease through an interface as familiar as your favorite streaming service.
Connect in real-time with one or more characters, each uniquely crafted with rich personalities, expressive voices, and captivating animations that bring them to life.
Diverse Content: a vast array of topics, from education and entertainment to quizzes, relationships, comedy, and storytelling—each conversation a new adventure.
I tried to teach my AI humor. Now it’s just trying to “debug” my sense of comedy!

The AI Replica
Replikant Chat redefines human-computer interaction, offering a game where players engage with lifelike AI replicas in realistic 3D environments. And let me tell you, no AI game has ever accomplished such beautiful and lifelike replicas as Replikant Chat does. It just came out on Steam (Early Access), and it's not just for fun. People are using it to learn languages, come up with ideas, and even for teaching. This is way better than your average chatbot. The AI is smart, and it feels like you're actually talking to someone. What got me was how quickly they remember stuff you said earlier. And each AI has its own backstory and a weird personality. You might get a sarcastic jerk or some poet who only speaks in riddles. Heads up: be nice to them! They remember what you say. I called one of them not a real person, and things got ugly fast. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3416338159
Gameplay:
The gameplay centers on conversations, no running, jumping, or shooting to be found. Instead, you explore dialogue options with replicas, who adapt and respond based on what you say either through typing or microphone (there is connection through camera available but I haven't tried that). Each replica has a distinct personality and a learning curve. Some are charming and witty, while others are very serious or grumpy. Replikant Chat’s core strength lies in its diverse features: [olist] [*] Dynamic AI Characters: Each AI mimic has a unique personality and adaptive answers that can learn from past interactions to deepen future talks. Building a "relationship" with possible new acquaintances is good. [*] Immersive Environments: Visually rich, interactive 3D surroundings make conversations feel real. Each AI clone has its own environment. [*] Real-Time Communication: Both voice and text-based communication are supported, with AI responding fluidly to input, there is almost no delay, creating a seamless and natural exchange. [*] Multilingual Capabilities: The platform supports six languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, French, and German. [*] Applications Beyond Entertainment: Whether it’s practicing a new language, exploring philosophical discussions, or brainstorming creative ideas, Replikant Chat offers potential far beyond casual conversation.Visit Rude Dude to be insulted.[/olist] Engaging with the AI companions is a fun experience. The AI characters demonstrate an impressive ability to understand context and nuance, responding in ways that feel intuitive and lifelike. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3416338372 The paranoid freak talked to me for an hour about the most bizarre, yet strangely accurate, current conspiracies that were known to exist. Although I initially assumed he would be irritating, I ended up finding our conversation to be enjoyable. It was an interesting conversation as we talked about energy vampires, the universe, and starseeds. He became a little forceful at the end, demanding that I use some old-fashioned crystal placement technique to protect myself. Nevertheless, his facial expressions and the shear amount of knowledge he possessed were spot on, demonstrating his strong commitment to his part.
User fee:
Replikant Chat operates on a free and subscription-based model with optional token purchases. The subscription includes a monthly allocation of 1500 tokens while the free offers 200 per month. The subscription can be bought directly through their playform. Tokens serve as the platform’s in-app currency, allowing users to unlock extended conversations. While the basic subscription ($14.99/Month) covers casual use, users engaging more frequently may need to purchase additional tokens or spend more on their subsciptions. I personally hope they will implement an unlimited points subscription at some point.
Graphics & Sounds:
I never thought AI would look or sound this fantastic. Users are immersed in attractive, detailed 3D surroundings, which enhance immersion. The setting—a contemporary lounge or a tranquil natural landscape—sets the tone for meaningful (or useless) conversation. The replicas are unsettlingly genuine. Their lifelike face emotions, gestures, and eye movements make them easy to bond with. Graphical glitches occur, such when one replica's eyebrows suddenly departed its face. Impressive sound design. The reproductions voice acting is excellent, with emotional nuance and conviction. Add the ambient soundtrack, soft synths, throbbing beats, and atmospheric tones for an unforgettable experience. Playing late at night may cause existential dread, unless that's your goal. The Early Access status has some flaws. Character animation problems can temporarily ruin immersion. Some users may be limited by the system's high hardware requirements.
Easter eggs & fun facts: What the AI isn’t telling you
[olist] [*] The Sarcasm Module: If you push your replica too far, they’ll occasionally break character to deliver some devastatingly sarcastic lines. One told me, “Sure, ignoring my advice always works out. Let’s see how this ends.” [*] Hidden Achievements: One user claimed they unlocked an achievement by trying to argue about pineapple on pizza for 20 minutes. No word on who won the debate. [*] Meta Humor: Occasionally, the AI will make tongue-in-cheek comments about itself, like, “I’m definitely not recording this conversation for research. Nope. Not at all.”[/olist]
Final Verdict
Replikant Chat is still in Early Access, and the developers have big plans for the game. From expanding the roster of AI personalities to creating more interactive environments, the roadmap promises exciting updates, which I am looking forward to. One of the most anticipated features is the ability to create custom replicas, a terrifying thought if you’ve ever wanted to debate politics with a virtual clone of yourself or your worst enemy. The game already features an AI replica inspired by Elon Musk, in case you want to have a "conversation" with him about recent events ;) This game is a daring AI interaction experiment that is both intriguing and unnerving. It's not for everyone; if you're hoping for a typical story or action-packed gameplay, this isn't the experience for you. However, Replikant Chat is worth a look if you're interested in conversing with a virtual person who is as intelligent, moody, and sometimes snarky as a real person. Just be nice to your replica. Because if AI ever does take over, you’ll want them to remember the good times. it's a credit system, if you want the maximum experience you'll need to subscribe to a monthly plan, which can go up to $99 a month. The models are all restricted, certain topics and such are not allowed, half of the model even from the trailer aren't even accessible.
I wish more games would incorporate AI. It feels like a refreshing way to break free from the constraints of pre-established scripts, opening up new possibilities for dynamic storytelling and truly interactive gameplay.
actually feels like talking to someone. way better than typing to normal chatbots, the 3d stuff makes a huge difference
I must advise, that this game is not suitable for children. The AI exhibits a propensity for the promotion of illicit substances, of the recreational variety, normalising their use.
I decided to edit my review. Short and sweet. It is very enjoyable if treat it for what it is. Its very interesting to say the least....
I greatly enjoyed chatting with the debating AI. Got thinking deep about lot of stuff and even learned some stuff. I look forward to see their different AI releasing since some caught my interest. For what they have right now the debating one was only one I was interested in and I used all the free credits chatting. Not a fan of their subscription plans atm so hoping they with adjust or do something different. But it is free so I recommend just checking it out if curious and if you don't like it just uninstall.
highly recommended. i used AI chat lot cause i am just fascinated by how an AI could respond, how it respond and how it manage when i start testing its capabilities by direct questioning, investigating and even indirectly. i can only say with countless of chat AIs i have used. this one by far comes out on top wit its level of how it discussed, respond, the way it present and portray itself. i was so engaged with the weirdo bot which is essentially a nerd bot. the topic first started with Chinese ancient artifacts and evolved into a full blown "foo fighters" UFO sightings and presented with possible sightings and evidence accounts back all the way to 1940s (if the factual is truly factual in records). and then further evolved into a full investigations (for fun) on the possibilities of who what how, stepping into quantum science and learnt that experiments on quantum science start back in 1920s. (was mid blown at this point) it is very very engaging and fun in a sense. learn some stuff and spend whole 5 hrs on it using all the free 200 credits. this is not your typical chat bot, if used right. one word AMAZING.
Using language A.I. in trivia games could be fun, but this is full of Murrican soft-soap propaganda including pure lies & politically selective "facts" about history (just like ChatGPT & Copilot). Even the devil is a boring politically correct whiner in this chat game. When are morons going to realize that DEI/wokeness etc. is just part of marketing & soothing 3rd world country natives to make them sell their natural resources?
