Relic Space is a pretty solid EA title. Been playing for a bit and have gotten to the closing end of a run. Most of the other reviews have covered this already in extreme detail, so I'll make it simple: 1. You're just a pawn in a game, not a hero or mastermind. There's nothing exceptional about you; your skills and equipment usually are a pretty close match to the enemy, and all of the main factions play fairly. 2. The game relies on a unique fight system. It has the sort of deep thinking and weighing of options that you'd expect from a tactical turn-based game while maintaining a balanced flight system. You don't have to worry about any sort of real-time limiters on your actions but you also can't just magically turn around in an instant like many other turn-based movement systems. 3. This game has some massive potential for the future. There's already quite a bit of planned content and plenty of room for additional modes, factions, etc. and really no reason not to have mods. This by no means is a finished product, but it already feels pretty good in the EA; that says a lot about what it will be like in the future! There's plenty of other reviews out there that have more detail. Don't take my word for what the game is; read others' reviews first or maybe just try it for yourself!
very fun challenging strategy game..... it's digital crack
Fun so far. Will get better with more content.
Relic Space is a fun mix of tactical turn based combat and RPG. I have been following the developer for a long time and played early builds of the game. The attention to detail is great and I was surprised how deep the simulation of your ship and its individual parts goes. It is awesome to see how much was added to the game over the course of development so far and I am excited to see what's about to come during Early Access!
I was been surprised by this game. There are lot of stuff to do, combat, trading, upgrading. I also love the fact that the world is splitted into sectors.
The Game shows a lot of promise i will be keeping my eye on further development,
The entry point is a little steep but it’s an EA game so I think we can forgiving there. Love the old school character creation interface. Combat is interesting and I am intrigued about the progression once a few more hours are spent in the game.
First I was confused with the movement, but once I finished the tutorial and started the real missions it was very fun, the maping system is actually very good designed, I love the controll system and the ambient music and storytelling. Time went by and it pulled me in, the strategy needed is not superb for a casual player like me, I could just keep playing it!
Fun game, has some bugs but nothing game breaking
