I can't write this review without getting controversial. Sorry guys. E-mail me for my real feelings on this retarded ass title.

Court is in session! Join Regeria Hope as she tries to complete her first case. There will be objections, there will be halts, there will be lies, and it's your job to defend your client, or don't, and choose a route of greed and power. I've never played an Ace Attorney game, but I really want to after playing this. Definitely recommend this, it's free and a very enjoyable experience!
A short court session is at hand here and on display. Only the first episode but its free.
really well made with passion
A Game of its Times, Not in a Good Way
This game came out in a time where the Ace Attorney games weren't on Steam, and that a sequel had potential. It's been nearly 10 years since, and Episode 2 has yet to come out while all of the Ace Attorney Games are now all on Steam. While this game is free, I wouldn't argue that it's a good use of your time. There's plenty of free games around that are better uses of your time, and the Ace Attorney games are much better if you can afford them. I won't spend much time, but I will go over my critiques of the game.
Neutral

Looks
The art of the game is honestly not as bad, it's one of the higher points. It has a lot of unique ideas that translate passably. I think a nice little digital cage to be put in court with is unique, and the character designs while stereotypical aren't bad... though they aren't good.
Bad

Gameplay
It follows the Ace Attorney formula, with some creative liberties. The idea of having a "chat" window on the side to see how characters feel about given dialogue is unique, as is the concept of having an ongoing timer and the ability to give your client testimony to read. Still, it doesn't go far enough in certain aspects, and other aspects feel completely useless. It feels incomplete, because at the end of the day, it is incomplete. I respect that the game has the courage to offer a "good" and "bad" ending for the first Chapter, but it makes it feel outright weird for the literal first case to have something like this.
Characters
I'd argue for the most part, the characters are either boring or outright unlikable. The dialogue, actions, and logic the characters take feel outlandish, and very little of the actual characters are worth looking over, especially as you can complete the entire game in less than an hour. I'd almost argue typing this review took me more time than certain characters had screen time.
Summary
This game is Episode 1 of a series that I heavily doubt is going to get an Episode 2. The Dev's Twitter has been inactive since 2018, and this project is effectively abandoned. I respect that the Dev tried to make this game work, and I do encourage them to continue trying. Each of the criticisms that I've put in can be fixed with time and care, but as it stands, I can't recommend this game in good faith.
10/10 cinematic masterpiece. Would recommend to anyone who wants to play a game similar to ace attorney with a legally blonde crossover. Loved the powerful strong woman persona of Regeria my GOAT. Don't listen to the haters on this games reviews, this is an amazing game with a compelling storyline. I was hooked, on the edge of my SEAT!! The judge was also a loveable goofball!!
