Red Ruins is good enough to pass the time with friends in a short brawl. However, don't use melee attacks as the giant on your friends. It will stun lock them and the game won't be much fun for them. Otherwise it was a blast to throw objects and shoot them with the gun-blade while defending against their spells.

"Red Ruins: Asymmetric VR vs. PC" is a dead PvP exclusive low poly VR arena FPS game with no players and a lot of what looks like flipped Synty assets. Obviously as a PvP game with no players, it's dead and not worth your time. This features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and it's clear the developers behind this didn't understand that. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 14 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
My teammates cant see the vr player and nobody can deal damage to either side, doesnt work.
Red Ruins: Asymmetric VR vs. PC is a Free to Play VR hack and slash game. It worked on my Index, Quest 3 via Steam Link and HTC Vive system, looked ok, sounded ok, played maybe, controllers worked in lobby. Requires 2 people to play, one from VR and one from PC, you have to use code to get in. VR player hosts a session. This is a student created program, so there might be bugs and is limited. Sounds like there is a server somewhere, and you can remote play. Did work with 2 computers on the same home network. Maybe try this, if you have Steam friends that can play with you, but not very good.
The concept is there, but it needs a LOT of work. The first problem I have with the game no special abilities for anyone. Everyone gets ONE attack and that's it. Second, the game is super unbalanced. I played the game with four friends and we all agreed that the game was in favor of the PC players every time. They just have too much health. And third- this one isn't really a problem, just a small nitpick- the shield shot feels like it fires way higher than you want it to.
My friend keeps getting an error that says "Failed to connect" and I can't play with him. This game looks fun and I would love to play it, but, like I said, my friend can't join the room/server
maybe the worst game ive ever played but it can be fun sometimes
c'est un bon jeux mais il manque de joueur et manque de boss et de diversité durant le gameplay, j'ai espoir qu'une mise à jour mette plus de détail au jeu et plus de caractéristique
