WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good game

GTA in the wild west. Worth playing & I had a great time. I actually tried playing RDR2 before this one and just couldn't get into it because I have no reason to care for the crew. RDR gives you lots of questions about them & reasons to care. I'm going through RDR2 right now and am a lot more invested & engaged than I was the 1st time around. Story-wise, it has its ups and downs. Every character we meet is interesting in their own way. Missions feel fun with fun and creative ways to take out bad guys n' ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. However, it's kinda frustrating to see John go on a wild goose chase and appease all these random people just to find his two targets. The plot feels very disjointed & more of a collection of random events that eventually have the targets pop up. Feels more "___ happens, then ____ happens, and then ____." The best parts of the game are the conversations with NPCs on the way to the main objective. The past events of RDR2 are alluded to in a way that built anticipation and mystery. The final missions are also incredibly memorable in the way they break traditional storytelling structure and we get to see what happily-ever-after looks like.

I like the more simple gameplay of RDR1. If you wanna play a spaghetti western type of game right now this game is excellent for that. But buy it on sale.
