I liked that game, but in 2024 it crashes on my new machine. Thumb up, because when it worked it was good. Recourse is a nice diversion in the puzzle game genre. First of all, let me say that if you're looking for a hardcore-level puzzle game, Recourse is not your cup of tea. Puzzles are intriguing and include a HUGE variety of elements, but they never get particularly frustrating or hard. If anything, they mostly get bigger, with multiple elements needed to unlock a single door; this sometimes can terrify at first sight, but you'll soon be able to separate the various elements (in their dialogues, the two AI even make fun of an "overcrowded" puzzle). The real challenges come when you try to unlock and reach the bonus question marks, which often requires to explore the whole level area to find triggers and rooms. Other elements such as time races and combat levels also contribute to the gameplay variety. There is also a story behind the whole thing, but it unravels only if you really make an effort and collect all the bonuses, thus unlocking another kind of challenge that I won't spoil... still, I think some elements in the backstory should have been revealed also throughout the game, instead of being mostly relegated to the very end in tex files. Nevertheless, the dialogues between Floe and Sleet provide quite some fun (and some nerdy quotes). I liked the game, there's a lot to do and to play. But it's not your usual puzzle game, so going for the demo version before buying could be a good idea.

2025 on Windows 10. Just bought the game, but it crashes within 2 minutes of starting, no matter what I do.
Very fun and well thoughtout puzzle game. Feels like something completly different with lots of gameplay.
Worth every single penny.
The Old School say Yes.
Love this game, it's very unique. Very relaxing and fun. Great graphics, music, and gameplay. It actually makes me sad to see such little reviews for such a great game. This is one of those instances where if people caught on and actually tried it there would be a overwhelming amount of possitive reviews.
Great puzzle game, but not really worth the full price. Pick it up in a sale.
